PdfProcessing: NullReferenceException 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' when importing a document with signature and parsing the linejoin operator

Hi there I have a pdf and whenever I try to Import the PDF file into PdfFormatProvider.Import method for flattening purposes, it throws null reference exception.

I have added a sample .net project with PDF added as source. You just need to run the project on your end. I am using version 2023.3.1106 of document processing library.

I am using ASP.NET 4.8 framework.

Hello Faizan,

We have a system that automatically prioritizes the logged items in our Feedback Portal. It takes into consideration various factors like demand and complexity and creates a backlog that we follow. We are doing everything in our power to answer customer requests and needs as fast as possible but some receive less attention than others which leaves them lagging behind.

I understand how this might be important for you but, currently, this task is not on our roadmap and I wouldn't want to mislead you by giving you any incorrect information. Once any item is resolved, we immediately update the public feedback page to notify our clients so make sure you are subscribed so you don't miss any possible updates.

Hello, Faizan,

I am really sorry to hear that you are facing any difficulties with the RadPdfProcessing library. Thank you for the provided sample project and pdf document which are essential for the troubleshooting process on our side. I was able to observe the same error when importing the pdf document. I confirm that it is an issue when importing a signature field in an AcroForm. Hence, the status is updated accordingly.

I have also updated your Telerik points.

Since this portal is officially public and the provided pdf document and project may contain sensitive data, they were moved to the non-public part of the item. That is why the zip is not visible anymore. But it is privately stored to preserve the confidentiality.

Make sure that follow the item in order to get notified once any status changes occur. If you want to increase the priority of the item, feel free to vote for the item.
