Hello,

This item will be available in R3 2021 SP1 Release.

It is also available with Telerik UI for WPF's latest internal build - LIB 2021.3.1025 (25 Oct 2021) if you need it earlier.

I have described our reasoning for logging this task as a feature request in the support ticket but will post it here as well:

I completely understand your concerns on the topic and discussed the scenario with the development team. We are treating the case as a feature request because a functionality for preserving hyperlinks on images has never been implemented in the component. I agree that losing some part of the content pretty much looks like a bug, however, the standard WordsProcessing is based on (Office Open XML) is pretty large and defines numerous different objects with their specific properties. And we are doing our best to implement the features requested by our customers but the library still doesn't completely cover the full specification at this point. Please, accept our apologies for the inconvenience this behavior might be causing you.

When it comes to renaming the request, we strive to provide full functionality when implementing a specific feature. That means support for importing and exporting from/to all of the supported formats as well as exposed API for the users to control the available properties. Because of that, the current name might sound more general. I have updated the description to include the current behavior.

If you take an existing DOCX containing a linked image and nothing else (this is quite common in our use case) and import it to a RadFlowDocument where suddenly the image isn't linked anymore, then that file has been corrupted.

So if we're going to frame this as a feature request, can we say it like it is and change the title to "WordsProcessing: Import a DOCX without corrupting the image links."
