PdfProcessing: Add support for justified text
At this point, the justify alignment is not supported.
Note: When implementing this functionality, ensure that there an is appropriate public API for setting the text alignment to Justify

The only solution I found was to export the file in Word and convert it to PDF with a third-party library. Unfortunately, there is no good free library that I can suggest.

Sadly the lack of justification capability is a deal breaker for us - we need to generate professional-looking letters and documents.

Hi Frank,

I am sorry to hear that you have experienced issues because of the missing functionality.

Indeed, you are right that the documentation provides misleading information by not stating the supported values of the Horizontal alignment property. We have updated the Features section of the documentation. In appreciation for pointing out this to our attention, I have increased your Telerik points.

PDF is a fixed document format and the page content needs to be measured and arranged each time it's drawn. The editing functionality of the PdfProcessing library provides API for inserting elements in a flow-like manner and hides the complexity of arranging the elements. The WordsProcessing library takes advantage of this API when exporting a variety of formats to PDF. For this reason, internally we have related this item to the item for exporting the Horizontal alignment property with WordsProcessing you have mentioned. This way, we ensure that the priority of this item will increase when the priority of the related item increases, and also the status of this item will be changed when the related item is implemented.

We prioritize each item by customer demand and review our backlog on a regular basis. This way we ensure that the most demanded items will be delivered. This item is with a pretty high priority in our backlog, however, I am afraid that I cannot commit to a specific time-frame when it will be implemented. Please, make sure to subscribe to the feedback item to be notified when the status of the item changes.

Regards,
Georgi

Just noting that this request has been outstanding since the summer of 2017. https://feedback.telerik.com/document-processing/1356249-wordsprocessing-pdfformatprovider-add-support-for-justify-text-alignment

Justification of text is also a standard implementation of text alignment, so it was surprising not to see this implemented. When evaluating the Telerik PDF document processing features on this page, https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/document-processing/libraries/radpdfprocessing/formats-and-conversion/pdf/pdfformatprovider/features, under paragraph options horizontal alignment it says yes and there are not any comments provided. Please at least update this document to add a comment saying justified text is not supported, only left, center, and right alignment is available. It's rather unfair to have your own documentation saying features are supported, only to find out after hours of development that they are not.
