Hi Vinod,

This issue is still not scheduled for implementation. We are currently preparing the current release and this is why I cannot say when we will be able to schedule this.

I am afraid that there is no workaround since this is caused by a missing functionality in our importer.

I want to apologize for the inconvenience this missing functionality is causing you.

Regards,

Dimitar

Hello Tanya/Admin,

Is there an update on fixing this issue in the library, or temporary workaround we can implement?
We are having the same issue with importing Word documents, non-breaking hyphen's are a standard convention our customers use for publishing documents.

The non-breaking hyphen is important to make sure a value does not get separated from its minus sign. Please can you implement this.

Also a non-breaking space would be useful for making sure that values do not get separated from their units. E.g. "1.626 m" or "127 mA" can end up split onto separate lines. A workaround in this case is to not have a space, but not ideal because SI Units should be written with a space. Check rule #15 here: https://physics.nist.gov/cuu/Units/checklist.html.
