Currently, the SpreadProcessing library does not yet support inserting images into the header or footer of a worksheet, nor does it preserve images placed in header/footer sections when importing XLSX files. Images in headers/footers are skipped during import.

You can, however, add images directly to worksheet cells using the Shapes and Images API (except headers/footers).

I understand how valuable this feature is to you, and I apologize for any setbacks its absence might be causing you. As of now, there is no information or plans regarding the implementation of this feature, and I wouldn't want to mislead you either by giving you a false availability date.

Our development priorities are influenced by several factors, including user demand, task complexity, and available resources. While we strive to accommodate all feature requests, some may take longer to implement, such as this one. Currently, we don’t have a timeline for its rollout.
