SpreadProcessing: Implement cell reference to whole columns and rows, e.g. $1:$2 and A:D
Implement support for cell references to columns and rows, e.g. $1:$2, A:D, etc.

Currently, CellSelection.SetValue throws ParseException, and CellSelection.SetValueAsFormula throws InvalidOperationException.

Hello,

This item will be available in R2 2022 Release. 

It is also available with Telerik UI for WPF's latest internal build - LIB 2022.1.411 (11 Apr 2022) if you need it earlier.

Hi

Am I mistaken in saying that implementing this feature is simply a matter of taking the cell reference and substituting "A:D" with "A1:D[row_count]", for example?

Hello Guy,

The logic for creating cell references is internal and I am afraid that there is no option to modify it in a way so it can parse references to rows or columns. Furthermore, this is part of the core logic in the control and even modifying the source code should be done carefully to preserve the already existing functionalities. Adding support for references to rows or columns also means integrating that with the different features that would need to operate with such references.

Hi Guy,

The 'Approved' status means that we agree that a specific functionality would be a nice addition to the component and the task is included in our prioritization and planning processes. However, the feature is still not scheduled and I cannot say in which release it will be included.
