The WPF RichTextBox control is tightly connected to the WPF UI framework and can use UI-specific functionality such as section columns. The Telerik Document Processing libraries, including RadWordsProcessing, are built differently. They are designed as UI-independent, cross-platform libraries focused on document generation and processing without dependencies on specific UI technologies. Because of this architectural difference, some functionality available in UI controls is not currently supported in RadWordsProcessing.
I realize this does not remove the limitation or lessen the impact on your workflow. I can also see how frustrating and disappointing this has been, especially after the time spent trying to find a suitable solution. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this situation has caused.
As mentioned earlier, I have already shared your feedback and concerns internally with the Document Processing team for further review. At this time, I’m unable to provide an ETA, however I can assure you that this task is currently on our radar.

What I find interesting is that this feature is available in the RTF control but not the Word control
Section Columns: You can arrange the text into columns with equal or different width and set a separator between them. Find more information on how to use this feature in the Section Columns UI and Section Columns API articles.

This is an essential feature when creating a document. This request was originally created in 2018 and has not been implemented in over 8 years.

It has been some time. Need this feature very urgently.
I agree this is an important feature and its implementation is on the list. The reason it's not scheduled for implementation is because the development team is working on more demanding tasks. Make sure to vote for its implementation and subscribe for status changes if you would like to have notifications about status changes.

I also need this important function and I can't believe that this has still not been implemented. The requirement here is from 2016, now it is 2020.

I have searched 3 hours why my Document looses the columns on merging. Now I know. Astonished that such a important feature is not implemented. As i am in need of this feature, I think, i am forced to use another Library, which is a pity.
