ADFS Users are incorrectly ported to the Report Server for .NET when migrating from the old server
After migrating from the old Report Server to the new Report Server for .NET, the previously existing ADFS users show up as "Federation" users in the new server, which is incorrect, since the new server uses Entra ID authentication instead of ADFS.

Users should ideally be retained as is with Federation ebign chagned to Entra ID since in most cases this is an telerik server migration and the users/entra and other details remain the same.

 

Not doing this would break permissions, scheduling targets etc. For larger installation this would be a tall ask.
