Allow default theme in ThemeBuilder to use effects variables like Material and Fluent
It would be nice if the default theme in ThemeBuilder would allow us to create variables to use for the effects! I tried creating custom metric variables for the offset, spread and blur for the drop shadow but those inputs dont allow me to enter variables in those fields. Thanks!

Thanks for the help, Todor! I must have just overlooked that Effects section in the variables pane.

Hello Daniel,

You should be able to create Effect variables in any theme within the ThemeBuilder. You do not see default (predefined) Kendo variables in Default, Bootstrap, and Classic themes because those themes haven't exposed such. However, this doesn't stop you to define and use your own. For your convenience, I've created a sample project where I've declared an effect variable and applied it to the Button component. The project is shared with you (daniel.otoole@kehe.com).

Regarding your other request about using metric tokens within the effect editor - I've added it to our feedback portal, so you can track its progress and contribute to its visibility and priority by upvoting it.

As a token of appreciation, I've added some Telerik points to your account.

Todor
