Some customers would like the ability to us e code as the condition in Test Studios If/Else logical block. They don't want to do everything in code, only the condition because not every condition is a simple verify some property of some element.

Another less elegant solution to the problem is to add the ability of a GoTo step X from code.

Create a command line option to output the results of an ArtOfTest.Runner execution of a Test Studio test or test list in MSTest .trx results format.

Once you connect to a pop-up window, you can not switch back to the previous one, until the pop-up is closed. Some test scenarios will benefit from the possibility to switch back and forth.

Please consider this feature for next releases.

Allow the ability to create a custom folder structure to organize project elements within the Element Repository. This will be helpful for cases where there are many elements on one page, or other more beneficial orgs for elements.  This should be an alternative and additional view for the element repository, retaining the option to see elements organized in current view.

Option is currently limited to only the manual test opened in Test Explorer.

Can you please provide the ability to data-drive mobile tests, similar to the way Test Studio web and desktop works?

It will be good if Test Studio can do relative scrolling to element, like for instance horizontal scroll to a specific column in RadGridView. Currently the scrolling is accomplished by Offset, represented by pixels.

We should be able to set a global Ajax timeout as we can for wait on elements timeout.

I'd really like to be able to use relative paths in WPF testing as we have different workspace definitions in our project and we have the directory context start in the root directory of the test project.

All tests under a single project in Test Studio should be in one and the same namespace. 

If we use different namespaces Test Studio changes the namespace to the one set in the project settings.

There should be an option to use different namespaces.

Please provide the free "Testing Framework" assemblies via your NuGet Feed.
As of now, I require the "ArtOfTest.WebAii.dll" for automation and testing of our WPF-Application which includes "Telerik UI for WPF". I am already installing those UI Components from the Telerik NuGet Package.

In the Test Studio licence, the reports menu does not provide anything other than that pictured in the Documentation site under "Test Results > Reports". I want to be able to use the data in the database and analyze the results in a different way.  For example, what is the total time taken for a specific test over time.  ... or total data downloaded.  How many non-fatal errrors are genereated in the loading of a page.  How many images are loaded?  What is the size of those images.

There should be a way to run only selected test cases from a test list. If few test cases fail in a list, then we should be able to select those test cases and run only selected test cases.

Please add an easy way for changing the scheduling database through the UI, currently in order to change the database you need to either reinstall Test Studio or edit the config files (not recommended)

To be able to run browser as different user than the windows authenticated one. Pressing shift and right mouse click will allow the option to run the application as a different user. It would be useful if this could be automated with Telerik Test Studio. 

A customer would like the ability to define custom frame info logic to be respected during recording. This will avoid the need to manually modify the recorded frame info once recorded and do it repeatedly for each new recorded frame. On customer own words:

"Each time I record a step, it records a full base URL, and I have to go and delete the portion of it that matches my already used base URL, and replace it with a caret.  However, when I record a navigate step, if a portion of the URL matches my base URL, it automatically removes the portion that matches my base URL, and only records what needs to be added to it.  Is there a way to do this while I record interactions with elements in frames?  

As well, our frame IDs are static, while the Names are dynamic.  Again, every time I record a step, I have to delete the name from the frame find logic.  Is there a way for me to set test studio to not record the name at all, since it is useless to me and just adds some extra work?  I also have the same question about queries, since I always end up deleting the query that gets recorded as well."

When viewing the test Results view, there are things that I would like to have here. 

The test results view only shows me 5 columns and I cannot change these.  

These 5 columns are nice, but I want to see more.

For me, I do not really care seeing the complete Test Path of my test, I would actually prefer to see just the Test Name.  This would either eliminate or limit the dynamic nature of the column to resize the column length when initially loading the results tab of Test Studio.

With that being said, if the Test Path changed to Test Name, I would assume that the Result column will be present with low need to resize the column to make it visible. 

At this time, I feel that the Browser column is not very useful to me, but is probably useful for others.  

So having the ability to customize the results view to have useful columns like Test Name, Start Time, End Time, Passed/Total, and Results would be extremely helpful.  Also to have and/or know any other queryable field will be a great addition to this feature.  

In the storyboard, many test steps (such as coded steps) do not capture a screen shot. It would be useful to be able to add a custom screen shot, such as of an alert box that a coded step is handling.

The send results dialog that allows you to send email notification upon test list completion is only generated when scheduling tests for remote execution. I would like this feature to be available when test lists are run immediately using the "Run List" button/command

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a feature in test studio that would allow users to have multiple ramp up/down times using the load/performance testing functionality. For example, start with X users then gradually ramp up to Y users over the next N minutes. After N minutes maintain a constant load of Y users for the rest of the duration of the load test.

To me, this is the one feature test studio is lacking compared to the other players in the load/performance testing industry.  Please like if you agree that this would be a great feature for the test studio team to implement.
