Schedule set the name of the attachment

In the Schedule I want to set the specific name of the attachment instead of the Report's intern name.

I have a report named Report xyz per period with parameters for day-, week and month report.

When I make a schedule I cannot set the name of the attachment when I sent it by mail, it's alway Report xyz per period.

Hi Fred,

Please, use the property DocumentName. The property Name is a hardcoded string that cannot be set with Expression. I have linked a screenshot from the Standalone Designer for clarity.

Todor, can you give me an example how I can do that in the Report Designer?

I cannot fill in for example Parameters.Company.Value in the Name property of the report, that is not working.

Hi Fred,

The name that would be used when exporting the report in any format comes from the Report DocumentName property. When the DocumentName property is left blank, then the Reporting engine will use the report Name.

The DocumentName property can be set with an Expression. For example, you may use the value of a Report Parameter, or other Global Objects to form the document name run-time and make it more meaningful.

That said, we already have this functionality and for that reason, I will decline this feature request.
