Upgrading Report Server removes existing HTTPS bindings

Hello,

I recently upgraded our Report Server that was hosted in IIS with an HTTPS binding but after the upgrade we were unable to communicate with the server using HTTPS. We received an invalid client id error.

We updated the bindings and everything worked. However, it would be nice if we could upgrade Report Server without changing the IIS bindings.

Hello,

The installer coming with version R3 2023 SP1 (9.2.23.1114) is starting to preserve the IIS settings, including bindings. In other words, once you upgrade to this version you will need to apply the settings manually one last time! More info at https://docs.telerik.com/report-server/implementer-guide/setup/upgrade#iis-settings .
