Customize External Template

It recently became apparent to us that there are multiple templates for sending email. There is the one that can be customized but it only get customized for internal users. There is also a separate template for external users and it cannot be customized and is common across all reports.

All templates need to be customization for each report. Since the Report Server is designed to send to anyone and the licenses are controlled by who can create reports, it makes the ability to send report to users extremely limited.

Thank you for adding this feature.
I tested this feature with two separate scheduled tasks. I setup different Local and External templates for both tasks and all the emails were sent out with their respective templates. It is working very well.

Scheduling did get a major improvement in the just published 2018 R3 release. The improvement includes the current feature: https://www.telerik.com/support/whats-new/report-server/release-history/progress-telerik-report-server-r3-2018-4-2-18-912

Thanks so much. This will resolve my issue which I mentioned in a different feature request just below this. 

This is a high priority issue for us here and is there any ETA for this?
I sincerely wish if this change can be pushed as an adhoc rather than as part of release..

I second what Doug said - in our company, we need to send reports to people outside of our company. The sooner this feature is available, the better. :)

Yes, I couldn't agree more.  This is handicapping our Organization in a big way as the reports I generate are distributed to all of our Executive Staff (CEO, CFO, CTO, etc.) and they are all External Users, as they should be.  They require special information that changes week to week based on what's happening that week and I can't simply edit the Mail Template on the Schedule for the Reports I send out to them.  I can't change the Template because we use that for many other reports that don't need to have that additional text for Executive Leadership.  This should be elevated quickly to be available on the next release.
