- Open a themebuilder project
- Click on the settings icon in the header bar on the right side
- Navigate to the colors section
- Try to navigate away from the color section
--> Create Variable Dropdown turns invalid and I can't navigate away from the section. Also there is no way to make it valid.

I was able to reproduce this issue by creating a new ThemeBuilder project using the R3 2023 version and then migrating it to Q3 2024. It occurs because variables that are no longer internally used by the Kendo components still persist after the migration. ThemeBuilder identifies these variables as custom-defined ones, even though they were not initially. The error you are encountering is due to the failed validation of the category (in this case, Kendo Link).

In the meantime, as a workaround, you can rename the problematic categories (Kendo Link, Kendo Components, Kendo Body), to something that doesn't begin with the keyword "Kendo", using the following menu:
