Select an icon+label button variant in a card/dialog
Hello, as a designer who doesn't work with CSS, I'd like to be able to do as much customization as possible in the theme builder. For example, there is the card component with two action buttons: I'd like to be able to replace the primary button without an icon with the primary button with an icon. The same applies to a dialog. For the drawer, I'd like to change the number of options and their names/icons. At the moment, theme builder seems almost useless to me.

Hello Richard,

Currently, there are no options to modify the pre-defined templates for different components, but the team will consider adding this feature in the future. I've included your specific cases as additional requests in the following public feedback thread: https://feedback.telerik.com/themebuilder/1629319-allow-modification-of-content-in-themebuilder-templates

Meanwhile, it's important to note that the Card and Dialog components don't have strictly defined buttons. Based on the Kendo React implementation, buttons in both components can be created with various theme colors and fill modes, with or without icons, etc.

This means that you can use the ThemeBuilder button configuration to preview the styles within the Button templates. These styles will later be applied to the Card/Dialog components in your Kendo React application. Please be aware that the preview won't be available in ThemeBuilder due to the inability to change the templates and the live preview, as per the logged feature request.

For example:

- You can create a Solid/Primary configuration for the Button component

- Then you can use that configuration to preview the Button Icon variant - this is what you will see in your Car/Dialog components in Kendo React (if they are created with a button that uses Solid/Primary).

I hope the above will make it easier for you to work with the ThemeBuilder application.

When it comes to the drawer icons, it's important to note that these are managed internally by the Kendo React suite as SVG icons. ThemeBuilder does not offer an option to change the SVG icon because it's not part of the Kendo theme, but rather a component of the Kendo component itself.
