Hello Everyone,
The newest version of the Kendo Material theme no longer relies on predefined and hardcoded color palettes. Instead, it utilizes color variables, allowing users to customize any color used within the theme directly. With the ThemeBuilder application, you can now achieve quick and comprehensive customization of primary and secondary colors within the Kendo Material theme.

Hi Sören,
You
are correct, at the moment it is not possible to change the Primary
Color and other variables in Material Theme due to its design using
palettes. However, I can assure you that the Kendo team is continuously
working to improve their themes, and in the near future, it will be
possible to change the variables.
In the meantime, if you need to change the Primary Color, consider using one of our other themes like Default, Bootstrap, or
Fluent Theme. The last one also uses palettes, but in a different way,
allowing for variable customization.
Do I see that correct that I am not able to edit the Primary Color??
In your "Tour" you can edit the color
In my view I am not able to edit the color see Screens:
