I want an option on the View in the Drawer to have display full screen similar to the Kindle reader app. So that you click on it and the Navbar will appear it and when you start interacting with the view the Navbar and status bars go away.
DevExpress PhoneJS supports partial views that allow you to share and reuse similar HTML markup among multiple views. I need this feature right now in Kendo UI Mobile... I'm thinking about doing some kind of work around possibly with Templates or a jQuery Clone method call but it's going to be pretty hacky... Does Kendo UI Mobile have something similar to this already: DevExpress's PhoneJS Partial Views are described here under Flexible View Rendering Engine: http://phonejs.devexpress.com/ This is what I need: http://phonejs.devexpress.com/Documentation/Howto/Views_and_Layouts?version=13_2#Add_a_Partial_View Thank, Nathan
I know it's still in beta, but it would be nice
We need the ability to disable the keyboard or input read only for the combo box widget. When we don't want a user to input their own data on the combo box currently there is no option to disable this function.
Currently when screen sizes get smaller and smaller the grid is squeezing the columns as much as possible. But if there are a lot of columns this will soon hit a size that couldn't be squeezed any more. So the result is scrolling which is giving a bad user experience. However often there are columns in a grid that could be omitted on smaller screens because they aren't that important. How about adding some type of "class" to the grid column to tell Kendo that this column should only be shown on medium sized screens and up and another one should be shown on xs size and up (=always) and others should only be shown on large screens?
I use ios theme for Android to keep user interface consistent with ios and Android. However, there is a problem with form input. Please refer details in support Id: 796192. This is probably an easy fix from your guys. Thanks.
Please see 'Subject' line the <div> resizing didn't work as advertised and the splitter itself resizes to '0px'
Enable users of kendoCharts to show only integers on the valueAxis.
Looks are not enough... Performance please !!! Besides reasonable funcitonality and good html5 looks we really need to start hinking about how to bring this to a new level of performance. Data's getting bigger and bigger but the charting tool hasnt up'ed their level in handleing that data. Please review and increase the cap of how many point a simple bar chart can handle...Example? try plotting 4k points ( x axis being 0 or 1 and y axis jsut a count from 1 - 4k) using a bar chart. One of them might be reasonable but what if you have 5 of them or more on the same page ? Ambitious ? Stupid ? Not needed ? probably because one doesn't need to deal with that kind of data, but I promise to any analyst that that day will come !!!
In Kendo Web - Mobile as ListView - search field should not be scrollable, only listings should be scrollable. If user scrolls down couple of pages down and now he wants improvise the search, then again he has to scroll back to type in search field. If only listing scrollable then search field is always visible where user can type whenever wanted. I dont know how this is missed in the current release. This is very basic.
We would like an event that we can listen to for when the drawer has completely finished opening.
Hi there, I would be great if you could pass the event name into event handlers, as we can't pass any additional args in, like we can with jquery events, so we can write generic event handlers that can detect the event type and handle it. Regards, Scott
I need the ability to have a Preview or a Detail View added to the ListView. I need to know when an item is scrolled off of the top of the list view. I want to place a preview or a details view just above the list view. I need an Scroll Event to take action and populate the preview. Scenario: The UI will have a listview of Reports. We want to display the report titles in the list view. We want to show a preview of the report. The Author, Publish Date, a description, etc. When the user scrolls the listview, we want to update this preview or detail panel.
Wow, I am more than shocked with the new Core license vs gpl, I mean this feels like a slap in the face for all the users who have helped you debug and enhance the product these last few years. Now with the new license you cripple us, no grid, no scheduler, nothing of great value anymore. Telerik, what is going on?? Been with you guys since 2002 asp.net commercial, and recently with kendoui gpl I do appreciate the gpl of kendoui but to make such a dramatic change to the open source product is extremely hurtful. It would be great to keep the gpl license in addition to the apache and continue support for gpl as normal. Having a half-baked open source product pushes users to look elsewhere. Again big disappointment and just feel used for my hard work in supporting the gpl product and the products I am developing in gpl that will now not be supported in the Core since the components no longer exist. Horrible decision on your part!!!!! Bait and Switch practices!!!!
Notifications stack should be able to slide after previous notification hides, like in toastr: http://codeseven.github.io/toastr/demo.html choose Bottom Right position and add some notifications. After last hides rest slides down. Same behaviour should be possible in KendoUI Notification
Since KendoUI has now MaskedInput widget would be nice to have a grid configuration option, which allows to specify mask for a column in edit mode.
The currently existing 'validate' event is only triggered on submit of the form or by developer code. Ideally, an event should be available that is raised by any unobtrusive validation event. Ádd new event to the Validator, raised by validateInput. This will allow custom handling of validation errors, even when the user is not trying to submit the form. Usage : for example, toggling bootstrap 'has-error' class on the parent element 'form-group'.
I just want DataViz. I'd be happy to pay for the professional license, but I don't want all of the widgets and have to install everything. And please, make this manageable through Bower.
Right now it seems to support only Shapes and Textboxes, what plans do you have for supporting Charts and perhaps any plain HTML (that would then be possible to "kendoify")?
I want to be able to right click on a point in the line graph and add an annotation or expose a menu for them to choose. The scenario is I want to right click on a point and say the value of that data point is invalid.
