In the Spreadsheet, if you freeze too many columns and then try to export to Excel, the file is corrupted.

If you reduce the number of columns in the example below, the issue does not occur.

Reproduction of the problem

1. Open this example
2. Click the frozen rows button
3. Click the Export to Excel button

Current behavior

The exported file is corrupted and cannot be opened

The file should not be corrupted

In Firefox with Windows 11, the Spreadsheet cannot be scrolled using the scrollbars.

Reproduction of the problem

1. Open the Overview demo in Firefox on a machine that uses Windows 11
2. Try to scroll vertically or horizontally.

Bug report

When the INDEX formula is used in combination with LINEST the Spreadsheet displays an empty cell. In case such formula is imported from Excel file '#VALUE' is displayed.

Reproduction of the problem

1. Open the Dojo
2. Observe the content of the cell with the pink background.

1. Import the file in the Spreadsheet demos
   LINEST_INDEX.xlsx

Current behavior

The content of the formula cell that includes LINEST and INDEX is empty. When clicking on the cell the formula is displayed in the formula bar. When importing the content in some cases the content is '#VALUE'.

Expected/desired behavior

The LINEST should work as expected in combination with the INDEX formula.

Bug report

Spreadsheet: Improper copy paste to Excel when merged cells are present and one column in the merged cells range is hidden. If the column containing the first merged cell is hidden all the rows on that row will be shifted to the left.

Reproduction of the problem

• Run the following Dojo;
• Select Range A1:D3 (note that column B is hidden)
• Press Ctrl + C;
• In Excel workbook press Ctrl + P;

Current behaviour

After pasting, the merged cell consists of 4 cells, as expected, but the cell data is shifted to the left and the hidden column contains the cell data of the next column

Expected/desired behavior

The cells after the merged cell should not be shifted.

To whom it may concern,

I am having a problem with the AGGREGATE function in the spreadsheet control. Cell H7 does not give me a value.

I have attached a dojo saved file, the tutorial documentation I was following (please see pages 4 & 5), a screenshot of the function in dojo and an excel file with the aggregate function working.

After the 2022 R2 SP1 version. there is a bug in the spreadsheet data source. when dill down the cell, the data source will not be changed. only input text can trigger the change event.

When the select() method is used in the Spreadsheet changing event wrong cell is selected.

Reproduction of the problem

2. Select a different cell, change its value, and press Enter

Changing event is fired, but the 'B3' cell is selected instead of the 'B2'

The correct cell should be selected when using the select method inside the Spreadsheet event handlers.

Bug report

The Kendo UI Spreadsheet's RANK function appears to be ignoring the 3rd optional parameter for ordering the numeric values.

Reproduction of the problem

Please take a look at this Progress Kendo UI Dojo which demonstrates the third parameter being ignored, and it remains with the default order.

Expected/desired behavior

If the third parameter is set to 1 or a nonzero value, the order should be set to an ascending order.

Bug report

Dates and times entered (or pasted) in the spreadsheet are incorrectly parsed and do not respect the specified format. For example, dd.MM.yyyy HH:mm becomes MM.dd.yyyy HH:mm. The issue is replicated even if a culture is set.

Reproduction of the problem

1. Open the Dojo
2. Add the following date in Excel file and paste it in the Spreadsheet - 10.01.2022 09:00

Current behavior

The Spreadsheet does not parse the dates correctly.
10.01.2022 09:00 (january 10th) becomes 01.10.2022 09:00 (october 1st)
13.01.2022 09:00 is not affected by this issue.
10.01.2022 (january 10th, without time) is not affected by this issue.

Expected/desired behavior

Spreadsheet should parse the dates as they are. Copy dates such as 10.01.2022 09:00 should remain 10.01.2022 09:00 without switching the month and date values

Bug report

When a border is applied and there are frozen rows/columns the border appears splitted with a white lin in the middle.

Reproduction of the problem

1. Open the Dojo example.

Current behavior

The bottom border and the right border are split with a white line in the middle.

The border should appear entirely filled with the selected color.

Bug report

Spreadsheet doеs not allow selecting of multiple cells when opened on Microsoft Surface. It is also not possible to resize columns.

Reproduction of the problem

Issue 1

1. Open the Spreadsheet Index demo on a Microsoft Surface device.
2. Click in a cell and try to drag the selection to select multiple cells

Issue 2
In the Spreadsheet Index demo select a column. Try to place the mouse in between columns for the icon to be changed and to will be able to resize the column.

Current behavior

Currently, the selection in the Spreadsheet could not be expanded to multiple cells and the columns could not be resized when the Spreadsheet is used on a Microsoft Surface device.

Expected/desired behavior

The Spreadsheet should allow selecting multiple cells and resizing columns when opened on a Microsoft Surface device.

Current behavior

The first added cell value (or row) is removed when the user deletes an empty row.

Expected/desired behavior

It should behave and function like Excel. I think with local/static binding there are no issues.

Bug report

When defaultCellStyle is used the configured font is applied to the cells in the Spreadsheet. However, the font is not applied when adding new rows.

Reproduction of the problem

1. Open the Dojo.
2. Enter some text in the cells
3. Insert a new row
4. Enter text in the newly inserted row.

Current behavior

The configured font in the defaultCellStyle is not taken into account. The font in the newly inserted row is Arial 12, while in the example it should be 'Courier New' 18.

Expected/desired behavior

The font configured by using the defaultCellStyle option should be applied to all cells in the Spreadsheet, even if inserted after initialization.

Bug report

When pasting content to a Spreadsheet that has only one column(columns: 1), the data is not pasted in the targeted cell and a JS error appears in the browser's console.

The issue appears only in scenarios where the columns configuration is set to 1.

• The reported behavior is a regression bug introduced in 2021 R1 SP1 - version 2021.1.224
  Here is a Dojo example with 2021 R1 in which the described above issue is not replicable.

Reproduction of the problem

1. Open this project and run it
2. Copy random text
3. Select a random cell(do not double click the cell) and press Ctrl + V to paste the copied content

No data is pasted in the selected cell and the below error appears in the console:

Cell value is not displayed after setting a formula for a range and creating a merged cell in the Spreadsheet.

Bug report

When trying to select multiple cells in Spreadsheet, an error "n._ref.height is not a function" occurs.

Regression introduced with R3 2021.

Current behavior

An error "n._ref.height is not a function" occurs and cells are not selected.

Describe the bug
When the Spreadsheet has locked columns and columnWidth is set, but the width of the locked exceed the width of the Spreadsheet, the widget is not rendered correctly.

To reproduce

In Excel I can create a merged cell. For this example, I will merge A1:B1 and name the range MyCell.  Next I name the single cell D5, and call it MyAnswer.  I can enter the following formula into MyAnswer, =MyCell and Excel will return the result.

Using Telerik if I create the same layout I get a #Value or #Spill error because Telerik requires MyAnswer to be the same merge configuration as MyCell which creates a significant disadvantage in usability.

Can you please advise when this issue will be fixed in Telerik.

Hello,

When spreadsheet cells are merged and have comment, it's shown only when hovering over first cell and not shown when hovering over other cells of the merged group of cells
