I do teach web development/security on a regular basis and in my classes I use Fiddler classic, and that works great. (teaching developers at companies, not school/university)

But I wish there was a student/training edition of Fiddler Everywhere, that I as a teacher could install on my student machines and that does NOT require any signup/account creation. Perhaps limited to be used for a few days before nagging for signup?

In my training typically provide a disposable virtual machine for my students and as a trainer, I do prioritize the ease of deployment/setup.

Are there equivalent instructions to https://docs.telerik.com/fiddler/Configure-Fiddler/Tasks/UseFiddlerAsReverseProxy for Fiddler Everywhere?

I have enabled "Allow remote computers to connect".  I tried setting up an Auto Responder rule with a match condition of http://localhost:8866 and an Action of http://localhost:80.  However, I am getting a ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS in chrome.

Currently (version 1.5.1), Fiddler Everywhere doesn't support working as a reverse proxy. I am marking this one as a feature request (and moving the topic to the FR forum section).

Implement syntax highlighting and formatting in the inspector for common formats like JSON and XML in http rest requests and responses.

And would be nice if it is auto formatted

Perhaps a checkbox in the confirmation dialog "are you sure you want to add the rca to your user" could have a checkbox like 'also add to the Local Machine store".

Applies to Fiddler Everywhere and, more importantly for me, to Fiddler Everywhere Reporter.

In my use case, I need the cert there as well to get traffic from a process that runs as a service.

As things stand, I need to (instruct non-technical end users) to export the cert and manually add it to the Local Machine store and I would rather it were simpler.

It appears that I need to add new columns for "VIA" and "SERVER" with each new recorded HAR session that I open.

Is there a way to set these extra two columns to always appear in my defaults?

I am looking for a way to capture traffic from a machine and replay it later to simulate live load. I can see that I can capture the traffic and export it as curl script, but what it's missing the the times or the delays between the curl requests. This means that if I capture the traffic for 8 hours and then replay it, it'll be replayed all consecutively without delays which isn't simulating live load.

Does anyone know a way to do what I need?

      Hey Nathan026,

      Thanks for posting your issue!

This sounds like a legit feature request that the team will triage. I am marking this one as an FR to be taken after the team triage meetings.

An example scenario is using Fiddler to redirect a web application to use a locally running API instead of the server API. The web application needs CORS support on the API and the locally running API cannot provide such.

This is where the ability to simulate CORS support would come in handy.

Colleagues, please add an essential feature of Fiddler Classic called Automatic breakpoints

I'm sure that a bunch of people will migrate to Fiddler Everywhere if you implement this

        Thnx

Fiddler for Windows allowed you to add custom columns to Web Sessions list.

Fiddler Everywhere needs this option so I can add in a column to show the IP address of the server being connected to.

Can these methods be added into Fiddler Everywhere:

        1. https://docs.telerik.com/fiddler/knowledgebase/fiddlerscript/addcolumns
        2. https://docs.telerik.com/fiddler/Observe-Traffic/Tasks/ConfigureColumns

Currently, Fiddler Everywhere capture every https traffic. Sometime, decrypt all https traffic are inconvenience and totally make the network broken (eg: Android 7+ devices). Please add this feature of Fiddler Classic.

        Thanks!

I am trying to login to fiddler anywhere on Ubuntu.  But since the system is behind proxy, while logging into proxy, i get network error.

I have configured the proxy in env variables as well as network settings >proxy, but it does not work.

Please provide a way to configure the corporate proxy for fiddler everywhere before login

On the inspector, one of the columns should be the call duration, pref in milliseconds.

Currently Fiddler Everywhere does not list anywhere how long it took to receive response (basic timings). Would be useful to expose that as a column, or add somewhere else in UI, at least in Request/Response info. Customising columns would help

In Fiddler (and in applications such as Wireshark) it's easy to collapse / switch between different protocols, headers and such.

In the Fiddler everywhere version - you get the entire request/response as a single text block.

It would be great to switch between protocols / collapse the parts you care less about and in general have better controls.

Currently, in Fiddler Everywhere Mac you only see raw JSON response from REST API. It would be nice to have an Inspector to show the JSON in a tree format.

I would like the ability to mark/highlight selected requests so I can better keep track of them and to increase legibility when sharing with others.
