Add ability to capture HTTP/S traffic when connected to VPN

Operating System: macOs Catalina 10.15.4

Step by step instructions on how to reproduce the problem:

  1. Connect to VPN (mine is Cisco AnyConnect).
  2. Open fiddler capture traffic.

You can also do the following to reproduce the problem:

  1. Open fiddler capture traffic.
  2. Connect to VPN (mine is Cisco AnyConnect).

Use case: I work remotely and connect to a VPN. In comparison, Charles Proxy can capture traffic when VPN is on. The comparison was to point out traffic is possible to be captured on VPN to counter any arguments.

Hello everyone,

The Fiddler Everywhere application is compatible with CiscoVPN. Detailed instructions on configuration the client can be found in the following KB article:

Hello Edmont,

Thank you for your interest in Fiddler Everywhere!

I can confirm that, indeed, at this very moment, Fiddler Everywhere is not working alongside Cisco AnyConnect. We are currently investigating the issue and will add this feature in our next planning. Keep track of this issue on further information related to the topic.

Once again, thank you for your feedback and for being a valued user!
