Kendo JQuery editor in custom application gets no actions recorded in IE

Customer's specific application has Kendo JQuery editor implemented but IE does not record any actions against it. Firefox records successfully and these steps could be executed against IE as well.

The same is tested against the official Telerik Demos and works as expected.

Additional details shared internally only!

Capture browser doesn't work with Chrome on a second monitor

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a test with Capture browser step.
2. Execute it as a test list when Chrome is launched on the second monitor (not the main one).

Expected: To create an image of the browser.

Actual: Test Studio creates a blank 1kb image.

This works as expected with the other browsers.

Results show no images of failed step (image at time of failure) when using remote execution

I run my test list on a remote machine. When I look at the Results tab in Test Studio I don't see the correct image with the failed step. Sometimes I see no images and other times I see the image from the previous step that failed. Never the image at the time of failure from the step I actually want to see. This makes it hard to analyse the results.

Using framework an execution of scenario when open, close and re-open again the browser - fails

A scenario where using the testing framework the active browser is opened then closed and re-opened again - does not execute as expected (reported in version 2017.3.1010).

Full Screen Comparison

Essentially an image verification step, but to validate the complete layout of the full screen. Although position-based logic is not the most stable approach, it would be helpful to be able to run a step that makes sure that everything on the screen renders correctly (with maybe options based off browser, device, etc.).

pdf validation

Hi - I'd like the ability to add a step that validates the contents of a pdf doc. Is there a way that we can add this functionality out of the box?

VSTS builds: Link test results to test case

It would be useful if the test results could be related to the test cases in a test plan.

Schedule test list: Email settings Persist for the project

Schedule test list: Email settings Persist for the project. Currently you must fill out the attachment type, who the email is sent to, title, ect. Currently If you close out of the project these are lost. If you are in a project and do not close the project, it retains the settings. this should persist through the project.

"Application Identity" service enabled in Windows prevents Chrome to record and execute tests

Chrome cannot be started with the required by Test Studio arguments when the "Application Identity" service is enabled in Windows 10 and as a result cannot record or execute tests with Test Studio.

It will be beneficial to investigate the case on our end and identify if there is anything we could improve or at least document the known issue.

A workaround could be to either disable that service or to add an exception for Chrome in an AppLocker rule to exclude it from the respective GPO.
