Currently, when a Kendo component is initialized in the TreeList template it should be initialized in databound, expand, collapse events.

• As the nodes are refreshed when they are expanded the components will not appear as expected in case they are not reitinitized in the collapse/expand event handlers.
• In addition, a setTimeout is needed to ensure that the needed elements are rendered when a node is expanded or collapsed. Adding the timeout leads to a flickering that is not a good user experience solution.

I would like the behavior to be enhanced in order to allow initializing the Kendo component in the TreeList template without the need to use the setTimeout function and if possible without reinitializing the components in the expand/collapse event handlers.

We are using latest version (2022.1.412) of the Kendo jQuery tool set. The latest version of Kendo jQuery is using one of the older version of jszip 2.6.1, which is being tagged a vulnerable by our scanning tool. Can you please upgrade the version of jszip in your latest Kendo jQuery (KendoUIProfessional and Telerik.UI.for.AspNet.Mvc5)  

As a suggestion from the response that I've got from Ivan Danchev, I'm raising a new feature to enable/disable columns auto-resize in the the treelist of the gantt chart. Currently the columns width is "static" when it is defined in the column configuration. It'll be great if the columns are resized automatically depending on the length of content in the columns.

1)I have configured drop-down(list) for the values in the cell of spread sheet.

2)Scroll bar is not coming in that drop down list.

In the Wizard to create or update an MVC project, and possibly other wizards, please add support for choosing which cultures that you want to include. 

 

This could be done by adding checkboxes in a tree where you could at first level choose language and then expand and choose country/region, since the files follow the format:

<language code>-<country/region code>. 

Most people probably only use English and/or their native language, so please make this a choice in the wizard.

As an example. In one of the latest versions of the framework, the folders for cultures and messages contain 1786 files in total. Out of those we only need 2, the ones for our native language. 

Slowly installing and then manually deleting 1784 files in Visual Studio for every time you run the MVC wizards, is a complete waste of time for such a common scenario where you know whihc languages that the app should support. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We want to copy & paste cell velue/text from kendo grid. But we are not able to select the cell text itself for copy. I think once we are able to select the cell text, we can copy than.

for example;
filter: { field: "fieldname", operator: "in", value: [value_1,value_2,...,value_n] }

Right now, responsive pager functionality cannot be disabled.

Try using a keyboard to navigate your components and you will understand why.

I will be recommending that our organization not use Kendo UI until you address all 38 WCAG 2.0 Levels A and AA Success Criteria.

Radio buttons fire events and web developers rely on these events to capture data or initiate a process. I fail to understand why something so basic to a control is overlooked, yet you provide this functionality to most of your other controls. 

Displaying multiple columns on vertical resources on kendoscheuler resources.

Any widget with the Template property should have a TemplateUrl property which allows the markup to be placed into an external html file similar to TemplateUrls in AngularJS components.

Like the event parameter of series.markers.visual contains the according dataitem the event parameter of series.labels.visual should do so aswell.

Please support API access for private NuGet feed. It is more friendly to build servers and avoids user information leaking.

Update from 1 Mar 2021 - At the moment we are looking at providing certificate-based access - a relatively new feature that seems to be the current best practice (issue, PR). While it does require a little bit of setup, it does not expose secrets in the URL, and does not require user credentials.
