The Azure DevOps "Telerik JustMock Tests v.2" is showing a warning about end-of-life Node version

We're using this DevOps task in our pipeline, however since yesterday we get the following warning:

##[warning]Task 'Telerik JustMock VSTest v.2' version 2 (JustMockVSTest@2) is dependent on a Node version (6) that is end-of-life. Contact the extension owner for an updated version of the task. Task maintainers should review Node upgrade guidance: https://aka.ms/node-runner-guidance

We're running it using a build agent hosted at the Azure DevOps cloud.

The requested feature is available in Q3 2025 (2025.3.813.457).

For the last few months this issue was resolved, however since this morning we got this issue again.

Did something change?

Hello Matthijs,

I apologize for any confusion that may have caused you disappointment. Over the past few months, we have been fully booked with our regular Q1 2025 release, which focuses on our main product.

The good news is that Azure DevOps task updates are not tied to our regular release cadence; they depend solely on priorities and available resources. We have already started working on the next release cycle, which ends in mid-May, and addressing this issue is one of our objectives. It is difficult for me to provide an exact timeframe, but I believe we would complete this much earlier.

I truly appreciate your patience during this time. Please know that I will keep you updated with any news as soon as I have it.

I just saw the Q1 release of JustMock, but this isn't fixed yet.

Could you let us know when we can expect this?
