Type: Bug Report
Windows 200% DPI Setting

My windows DPI scaling is set to 200%, as my resolutions to 2000x3000.

If I load fiddler normally, I see the following blurry text.

So i saw this bug report, which suggested to load up fiddler with -dpiaware, and now some text is better, but most of the tabs and buttons are incorrect sizes in the composer. In my opinion its more usable with the blurry text. I also tried to change the Fiddler.exe.config - EnableWindowsFormsHighDpiAutoResizing from true to false, but the only affect this had was to change the size of the mouse cursor.

Any ideas on something else to try, or is this a limitation of Fiddler / .Net WinForms.

Thanks Simeon. The unintended pun was great. My version number is higher than the one mentioned so assume i have the fix included.  I'll stick with the blurry text for now, it's not that noticeable if i have fiddler full screen. I was warned about DPI scaling issues when getting a higher than HD laptop screen. I've never had to resolve DPI scaling issues myself as i moved from WinForms to web development so I don't know how complex it is to resolve. It was a shock to see what everything looked like when i set it to 100%.

Hi Jonathan,

We had a DPI scaling problem in v5.0.20181.13826 and we fixed it in v5.0.20181.14850. The public forum thread regarding this issue is here. The blurriness which you observe on a higher DPI scaling is a limitation which we are currently not focused on - no pun intended :).
