Just came across this while looking at source code...

When edit is initiated from code with virtual scroll, a duplicate OnRead request is also triggered.

But this is not the case when built-in edit command button is used.

In the TelerikForm component, you have "FormItem" with a string parameter of Field and from the string, you somehow bind the data to that field.

For other components, we must use the @bind-Value to get this 2-way binding.

I would like to request the "Field" parameter for more controls like TelerikTextBox where we can bind using the string name of the field like we do in FormItem.

So instead of:

<TelerikTextBox @bind-Value="@customer.CustomerName" />

we would be able to do this:

<TelerikTextBox Field="CustomerName" />

or this:

<TelerikTextBox Field="customer.CustomerName" />

I would suspect that this would only work inside an EditContext.

Hello,

 i am fighting with ability to have inputs inside grid->gridtoolbar, but Tabindex of all inputs are automtically somehow reset to tabindex="-1" except the first one. All inputs mean: both telerik and standard html.

Is there any steps how tell the grid to NOT reset the tabindex?

Here is repo, focus on seccond,third input on finall html colde(all except "eAA") are with tabindex=-1

https://blazorrepl.telerik.com/GdalYJby04A79c4X38

Expected behaviour:

- maintain tabindex as it was set
or - if automatic indexing is necessary, number it incrementaly

Thank You for info

Today I submitted ticket Telerik VS 2022 Extensions break IntelliSense/typing in Visual Studio 2022 Version 17.3.4 but it doesn't show on Support Center under 'Your Support Tickets'. The only ticket that shows is from 9 months ago.

BTW, I'm reporting this thicket and previous ticket under UI for Blazor because I didn't see how to report it for the Extensions and for Support Center. Maybe that's another thing you need to look at?

Hello.

I have a scenario where I need to make some nodes in a TreeView checkable and some not.  It would be nice if there was an "IsCheckable" binding that determines whether a node should render a checkbox or not.

Although I've no use for it yet, the same could be done for "IsSelectable".

Is there some way to do this already, and I'm just not seeing it?  I'd prefer not to use JavaScript interop, or recreate the checkbox functionality through an ItemTemplate.

I know this has been a request since a long time ago, I found it in the jQuery version, and I have found that Syncfusion has found a way to handle this specific possibility.

As I'm quite enjoying the rest of the Telerik suite for Blazor, I'd like for this ability to be added in the Scheduler.

There are several ways to handle this, but one of the possible ways is what Syncfusion has done with SetWorkHoursAsync(List<DateTime>, String, String, Nullable<Int32>).

I'm usually showing either a specific day or a week, since my locations are possibly open every day of the week.

I'm currently handling breaks/no possible appointment windows during the work period with an uninteractable appointment, so at least I found a way through that.

Telerik Blazor charts are fine for some use cases but D3.js is much more powerful visualization library, could you provide blazor components/interops easily use D3.js in blazor?

I'm using a numeric textbox to handle a decimal value with the Format is set to "#,0" (which it needs to be since the client's specification is to have a whitespace as a decimal separator). While the entered value is less than a thousand then the entire value gets selected when tabbing into the component, but once it's large enough to display a group separator tabbing just puts the cursor at the end of the input without selecting the value.

I believe this to be a bug.

Current implementation of Theme Color is annoying.

  1. Setting the ThemeColor to be a static class instead of an ENum is bizarre.  It makes it really annoying to pass a typed themeColor into an input parameter.  I can understand the want to be more flexible and the inputs to your controls being a string
  2. You are re-using the ThemeColor in several different places where it is simply repeated. This makes things really annoying.

I recommend:

  1. Keeping the inputs to your controls for theme colors to be a string, so you can maintain the flexiblity (reason I assume you changed this in the first place)
  2. Use a single enum and in the documentation / examples say by default use "nameof(ThemeColor.Primary) for default themes"  You can add your own custom theme by .... and pass in a string.

Pretty simple. With each release the product examples in the Github repo should be updated.

For example, I am looking at the drawer -> sidenav example. Before I can even run the example, I now need to go through all the code to make the updates from 2.14.1 to 3.4.0.  Some of the changes that I have to make are:

  • TelerikButton no longer supports the Primary attribute
  • Drawer content needs now needs to be in a <DrawerContent> element not <Content>

I should not have to make these updates to look at an example, especially when it is referenced from a forum posting.

I should just be able to compile and run the example.

I have a TelerikForm that contains form items within a TabStrip. If one of the items validates as an error it will display the error message and style the form item in red etc .... But if i switch to another tab and come back, the item will lose some of the styling. I have attached a couple screen shots and a sample project to reproduce it.

I have found an issue with editing currency values.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Fill up a value 56.55

2. Try to click between 55

3. Cursor is at the end

The same issue about clicking between 56, the cursor will be before the dot.

As an extension to a context menu a radial menu control would be a nice addition.

It would be helpful to have a <WindowFooter> template inside Window, like  <WindowTitle>, or  <WindowContent> that stays 'sticky' to the window, so buttons and other content can be placed there , regardless on the height of the window and its contents.
