Hi Telerik Support

We use your Telerik PDF-Viewer since your last Version "UI for WPF R1 2021" which supports Type 3 fonts.
Now the version runs productive by our customers. But after a day, they found some special PDFs that doesn't work quite right with your PDF-Viewer.

In the appendix you will find the PDf-Files as samples for the bugs that i'm describing.
Because of data privacy, the PDF-Files are cutted and cropped.
Also a demo project is appended (It could also be reproduced with the demo Progress Telerik WPF UI for th PDF-Viewer).

First Problem: Blank Page

Hint: It seems that only a few PDF-Files from a specific program seems to be a problem.

1. Open Demo "WpfAppPdfViewer.exe"
2. Open the file sample_1_blank_page.pdf(see appendix)
3. You will see only a blank page
4. Open the same PDF-File in another PDF-Reader like Adobe Reader and you will see a scan with an illegible stamp of an address

Second Problem: Displaying data delayed

1. Open Demo "Progress Telerik UI for WPF"
2. Open the file sample_2_delayed_display.pdf (see appendix)
3. You will see only a blank page
4. Wait approx. 5-10 sec. and you will see the content of the PDF-File.

I would be glad for a quick possible solution for our customer.

When importing a document containing a specific image encoded with JBIG2Decode an exception is thrown.

Invalid character rendering due to the glyphs caching.

When the Text Rise ("Ts") operator is set the text baseline is moved in the opposite direction according to its default location.

Handle import of documents containing Simple fonts with names of entries in the Encoding`s Differences that are not part of the Adobe Glyph List.

According to the PDF Specification (9.10.2 Mapping Character Codes to Unicode Values) if the name is not part of the list: If these methods fail to produce a Unicode value, there is no way to determine what the character code represents.

List indent is respected instead of locally set paragraph indent when exporting to PDF

Wrong calculation of glyphs widths. 

PDFViewer: InvalidOperationException (The calling thread cannot access this object because a different thread owns it) when scrolling a specific document.

The leak is reproducible when printing documents without UI and results in multiple instances of DocumentPrintPresenter kept alive in the memory.

Path geometries with a small thickness value are not displayed correctly 

 Image is lost on import/export specific documens.

The thinnest line thickness is thinner than in Adobe and it is not scaled according to the scale factor.

Observed:

 

For some TrueType fonts, the spaces are displayed as rectangles.

An exception is thrown when importing documents with no page contents but only AcroForms.

The glyphs are rendered with additional unexpected lines when a specific custom CFF font is used to show them.

When loading a document with no Encoding set and containing MicrosoftNonSymbolicGlyph an exception is thrown and the content is not loaded successfully: System.NullReferenceException: 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'

NullReferenceException when searching for a bookmark that does not have a destination.

Text is not displayed when using embedded subset of the ToyotaTypeLight font.

ArgumentException when there are bookmarks that point to the same location: System.ArgumentException: 'An item with the same key has already been added.

The image rendering of the signed document with indexed color space is incorrect when importing it.
