http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/api/jsp/rangeslider http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/api/jsp/slider under the "tickPlacement" section says: The available options are: It needs to be: The available options are: both, ... and list the other options. I found "both" being used here: http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/slider/right-to-left-support but I don't know what else I could used for other effects
The "Grid / Filter menu customization" http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/grid/filter-menu-customization doesn't have enough similar "City" names to test the "Starts with" filter when a person might enter "B" and list multiple citys that start with "B" Currently there is only one city name per letter. Maybe you could make a couple cities have the same start letter. ie: "Boston" and "Berkley" Then you would see that the "Starts with" won't function for the "City" column because you can't enter just "B" and have to select a city from the cityFilter DropDownList.
I created a Kendo UI grid with two columns. One is just a number called num0. the other is is called num1 and it's data is created from num0 through a template. The filter on num0 works find. The filter on num1 shows up and you can use it but no matches are found. ie: filter on num1 and select "Is equal" and enter "2", then click "Filter" and grid is emptied when it should have shown the 1st record. I think it has something to do with the "template" that I am using to fill num1 column. http://jsfiddle.net/elbarto99/acyxekgx/

http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/api/javascript/ui/numerictextbox min Number(default: null) Specifies the smallest value the user can enter. Example - specify max option <<< max should be min
We use your grids, combo boxes and such in highly customized way, and most of them use custom functionality to complete a feature we need. In many cases these are some default features we would like to apply to all controls of a certain type. For example, we use a script which forces the user when using a combo box to always select a value and not enter incomplete text. This through script works like a charm, but a big problem is that each and every combo in our application must have this applied. Another example is responsive grids....we have a script in place which on a certain resolution transforms your grid into a responsive table. This also works like a charm. The problem is that we only now made the script...we now need to apply it manually to 120+ grids in our application. It would also be great if you would make the global event handler chainable with the regular one (so for example first the global one first from queue, then the regular one). Aslo it would be great if it would receive the affected grid in the arguments so that we can also make selector logic...for example all grids which have some css class...execute desired functionality. This would help SO much!
In the demo: http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/slider/index Slider / Basic Usage demo If you create sliders with different max, min, smallStep, and largeStep attributes the tops of the verticle sliders won't line up unless you have vertical-align: top; set. Maybe you could add this to your demo code. --- In the Style ... "div.eqSlider {" vertical-align: top; --- The demo all align because these 4 attributes are all set to the same values. If you modify the demo so one is different it won't line up in IE9. FF35 lines up unless you use a large max and a small min to cause no hash marks to show up. IE: -31 to 31 Below are some changes to the demo that makes the tops not line up. ... <input class="eqSlider" value="10" /> <input class="eqSliderBig" value="15" /> <!-- Changed to use ...Big --> ... $(".eqSlider").kendoSlider({ orientation: "vertical", min: -20, max: 20, smallStep: 1, largeStep: 20, showButtons: false }); /* Added Big to make the last slider have a different max,min */ $(".eqSliderBig").kendoSlider({ orientation: "vertical", min: -30, max: 30, /* Change to -31 to 30 and no hash lines will show up and FF35 won't * align tops */ smallStep: 1, largeStep: 20, showButtons: false }); ... div.eqSlider { display: inline-block; margin: 0 12px; height: 122px; vertical-align: top; /* Added to make tops align even if the max, min, smallStep, or largeStep are different */ /* Remove and the tops won't align in IE9 */ } /* Added for the ...Big slider */ div.eqSliderBig { display: inline-block; margin: 0 12px; height: 122px; vertical-align: top; /* Added to make tops align even if the max, min, smallStep, or largeStep are different */ /* Remove and the tops won't align in IE9 */ } ...
Need "Diamond" marker type in kendo chart
Many times, we had to implement workarounds to compensate a feature that isn't available in Kendo (User voice is full of those missing features). Sometime, a small change in Kendo's source code may be a solution to complex workaround. Knowing that Kendo UI has been build over many open source libraries, it would be nice to use the same spirit by allowing users to contribute to Kendo if they want to do so. Users could help adding features to existing widgets but they could also help to improve the documentation or by creating demos. You'll still have to review the submitted code to make sure it meets Kendo's standards but I'm sure Kendo and the users would both get the benefits of those contribution.
http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/api/javascript/kendo Optional namespace too look in when instantiating Kendo UI widgets. should be: Optional namespace to look in when instantiating Kendo UI widgets. Also, maybe you could give one example for each of the following: element String |jQuery |Element I think the code example is using "jQuery" '$("#view")'. It would be nice to know what a "string" and "Element" version would look like. Since I'm new I would be guessing how to put a "string" or "Element" version into the bind method.
After a bit of poking, I found that KendoUI has an internal dependency to jQuery. Hidden external dependencies to external framework, especially once with known compatibility issue between revisions, should be removed. This is even more vital when more than one of your competitors have web controls with no external dependencies.
Kendo grid angular is having option to rebind which works fine perfectly but the aggreates on the column footer are not updated when the k-options for the grid are changed. the sum is displayed as undefined next time when the value for the grid option is changed .
Expand your Moonlight theme for use with the Mobile UI
Currently when a new row is added to the grid, it will be inserted according to its initial values and the grid's sort order, but this means it may or may not be visible on the page the user is looking at. In this case the user gets no indication that a new row has been added and will have to page through the grid to find the new row.
When Adding a schedule item,a popup is opening but when opening popup i want to restrict popup based on css class name of clicked scheduled item how to get css class name of clicked scheduled item Sourcecode: @(Html.Kendo().Scheduler<FMCO.DataTransferObjects.Configuration.AppointmentModel>() .Name("scheduler") .Date(new DateTime(DateTime.Now.Year, DateTime.Now.Month, DateTime.Now.Day)) .StartTime(new DateTime(DateTime.Now.Year, DateTime.Now.Month, DateTime.Now.Day, 08, 00, 00)) .EndTime(new DateTime(DateTime.Now.Year, DateTime.Now.Month, DateTime.Now.Day, 17, 00, 00)) .Editable(editable => editable.TemplateName("CustomEditorTemplate")) .EventTemplate("") .Events(e => e.Add("onAdd")) ) <script> function onAdd(e) { // i want here css class name of click item } </script> Please help me Thanks in advance
