Fiddler classic uninstall after epic app & valorant online game not working some error as to come valorant error code : val 29

Hello Mandhira,

 

Once Fiddler Classic stops and is unset as a proxy, it does not affect the internet connectivity in any way. It also never modifies the DNS records.

The above said you should check the specific applications that are having connectivity issues. For example, the Epic Game Launcher does have its own way of setting/unsetting a proxy (learn more here: https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/epic-games-store-c5719341124379/launcher-support-c5719357217435/how-do-i-use-a-proxy-server-to-connect-to-the-epic-games-launcher-a5720254079003).

Hi Mandhira,

 

As far as I understood, you are facing an issue running specific applications (like Epic game launcher and Valorant game) once Fiddler Classic is uninstalled. If that is the case, then do the following:

- Uninstall the Fiddler Classic application.
- Stop the applications experiencing connectivity issues (like Epic game launcher and Valorant).
- Open your operating system Proxy Settings and ensure that Fiddler Classic is no longer set as a system proxy for capturing HTTP & HTTPS. If the proxy settings still refer to the Fiddler Classic address and port (by default, 127.0.0.1:8888), you should remove them explicitly by resetting the OS proxy settings to their default.
- Ensure that you have internet connectivity and restart your applications.
