Programs can't be "Filter Now"ed again if it done once already but then filter removed/deleted

Once a program has been "Filter now"ed via the context menu, if that filter is later deleted from down bottom, that program can no longer be "Filter Now"ed again; nothing happens.

It's as if program filtering is only given one opportunity to be "Filter Now"ed. Once that's happened, even if they filter gets deleted, the program isn't given another opportunity to be Filter Now'ed.

Hello everyone,

Some clarification on that issue:

Once you “Filter now” via the context menu, it deletes the filtered sessions and you can’t filter by the same sessions because they didn’t exist in the live grid anymore. That is by design and is currently we are not planning on changing the default behavior.

As a side note, the latest Fiddler Everywhere is providing more advanced filter options that are not permanently deleting filtered sessions.

Hello,

I just updated the status to Approved. Thank you again for taking time to report this. I added some Telerik points to your account as a token of appreciation.

Following is the description of the internal item for better discoverability:

Describe the bug
Once a program has been "Filter now"ed via the context menu, if that filter is later deleted from down bottom, that program can no longer be "Filter Now"ed again; nothing happens.

It's as if program filtering is only given one opportunity to be "Filter Now"ed. Once that's happened, even if they filter gets deleted, the program isn't given another opportunity to be Filter Now'ed.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Right-click in the session list and choose "Filter Now" -> Any of the sub-menus. The filter is applied.
  2. Right-click on the applied filter in the filter area below to clear the filter.
  3. Again, Right-click in the session list and choose "Filter Now" -> The same sub-menu as in 1.
  4. The filter is not applied.

Expected behavior
The filter is applied.

Boby
