How to replicate the issue 1. Using the attached document, TestSample1.docx, copy and paste the content into the RADEditor and choose to remove Word Format. 2. Observe the styling and the format of the pasted content in the editor. You will notice that the table will not appear properly and the font styling and size and all remove instead of converted. 1. Using the attached document, TestSample2.docx, copy and paste the content into the RADEditor and choose to remove Word Format. 2. Observe the styling and format of the pasted content in the editor. In this case, you will notice that the table is intact and font styling and size are converted to HTML format. The difference between the TestSample1.docx and TestSample2.docx is one has numbering in Heading. The numbering appears to have affected the result of pasted content from MS Words. The expected behaviour would be the same as the test result from TestSample2.
I am currently using the Radeditor "Insert Table" function. I would like this to allow user to auto adjust columns and rows live just like the following demo. https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-mvc/editor. I have disable the table wizard and table properties, so user will not be able to mess with this extra stuff. In the Capture.PNG is what I currently have. I would like to have the Want.PNG picture.
When text in the Editor has Track Changes then :
This will enable developers to easily change this property without customizing the FileBrowser dialog.
Another post appears as "Provide ability to paste/insert images from clipboard/local drive directly into RadEditor" and talks about similar but to date a facility does not exis as I envisage. When I work with for example a web mail facility like Yahoo Mail I am using an editor like RadEditor to create my email. When I say I want to attach a file this editor assumes that the file will come from my local drive (rather than a Yahoo server). This is what I would like to see as an option for Radeditor image handling - something like a button that says "upload". Clicking on it takes you to a dialogue to simply upload from local into the document. I appreciate that uploading from local can be done with existing Radeditor Image manager but this also offers access to server space that in the case of e.g. web mail is irrelevant and confusing. In an ideal world I would also like the uploaded document to be automatically associated with the document (email) that it has been loaded into although that can of course be handled manually.
This feature is available when ContentAreaMode is Iframe.
When we use the context menu on a table to insert a new row (above or below) if the table uses css class layout, the new line is the same one in which we click with the right mouse button to open the context menu. So my suggest is re-apply the css class layout automatically after inserting a new row or column. I believe in using OnClientCommandExecuted event, and his call for the same function as applied css class layout for the first time. In the Annex there is a sequence of screen shots illustrating the situation
Currently we are in the process of securing our web sites. we are experiencing issue on Xhtml Validator in RadEditor where it is not properly loading due to mixed content issue. There is no way to redirect to HTTPS instead of HTTP site. We can reproduce this on Rad Editor Demo site by making site as HTTPS and click on XHTML Validator icon. https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/editor/examples/overview/defaultcs.aspx Could you please add that feature?
Workaround: Set Lightweight for RadMenu in web.config: <add key="Telerik.Web.UI.Menu.RenderMode" value="lightweight" />
When RadEditor's ContentAreaMode is Div the entire page is printed instead of just the content. Possible solution is changing the mode to Iframe as it is by default.
