Indeed there is an official signed version of OpenRIAServices and we are already working on the support for it. The new dll will be included in one of our next Internal Builds right after our testing procedures are passed. We are planning to ship it officially with the upcoming Q1 2015 version which is expected to be released in the beginning of March.

Now that a stable version was released yesterday, will Telerik soon release support Open RIA Services in both Silverlight controls and Telerik Data Services?

Hi,
We were able to test the prerelease version of OpenRIA services. Everything seems to work as expected, however we need to wait for a stable version. Once we have some progress on the matter the Feedback item status will be changed.

Signed versions of OpenRiaServices assemblies are now available, so we're really hoping for support from Telerik soon...?

This will at some point be important to my company as Entity Framework 6 requires Open RIA Services - and we use RIA Services in almost all of our products.

We are using Silverlight Telerik controls and want to use OpenRiaServices. We are looking forward to support OpenRiaServices by Telerik soon. Please give us update on this so that we can plan accordingly.

My development team needs support for this ASAP. Is there any estimate of when an update to support OpenRIAServices will be made available?

We are also needing support for this. The conversion should be straight forward and not require any actually code changes since only the namespace has changed.

I can't stress how great it would be to get this added to the RadDomainDataSource.
Since Microsoft has wiped their hands clean of the RIA services code base years ago, it's a relief to see it continue to thrive by 3rd party developers who realize what a powerful data service library this is for Silverlight developers!
