Some images are not displayed correctly in SL because of the image compression.
There will be a workaround for this issue for 2013 Q3 SP1. The CompressImages property of the ExtensibilityManager needs to be set to false, which will resolve the issue but the images won't be compressed.

Q3 SP1 2013 is already live and you can find it and download it from your account. I hope the mentioned workaround helps you.

are there any news on when the Service Pack will be available?
The last date that was mentioned was in the beginning of December.
