RadDropDownList: The control is focused when it is added runtime on HDPI monitor
In this case, the RadDropDownList is added runtime to a RadPanel. An important part is that the Form is located on a HDPI monitor. When the control is added to the form it steals the focus. This is not observed in 100 % DPI.

I'd say every undocumented difference in the semantics of a standard Windows Forms API such as Location in your Controls is a bug.

Unfortunately I have not found documentation of the differences between the 2 modes of Telerik High DPI scaling and the standard mechanisms (which of course differ in .net Framework and .net 6, 7, and 8).

What's needed is thorough documentation that is current with the newest Microsoft release.

Hello Erwin,

Thank you for reporting this. A possible solution here is to call the Focus() method of the control which you want to keep the focus after adding the RadDropDownList control to the form.

In addition, the text is moved to the left. This will be taken into consideration from our team when fixing this behavior.
