Ref# 1106424. We are using Kendo Scheduler in our Web application to show the recurring appointments. Similarly, We need the Recurring appointments to the RadCalendar for Xamarin.Forms in Mobile to aligned with Android and IOS.
The Android and iOS versions of the control support multiple and range selections. We should consider embedding such features in the Xamarin.Forms control as well. Links to the features in iOS and Android: - Android Range Selection: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/xamarin/nativecontrols/android/calendar/calendar-selection - iOS Range Selection: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/xamarin/nativecontrols/ios/calendar/selection
Introduce a MaxLength property. An example of such a feature is the Xamarin.Forms Entry control's MaxLength property: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/xamarin/xamarin-forms/user-interface/text/entry#limiting-input-length
TreeView control similar to the UI for WPF suite. Available in R2 2018 release. More information can be found here: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/xamarin/controls/treeview/treeview-overview
Customizable busy indicators that allow the end-user to understand that an operation is taking place at the moment will be a great addition to the suite. More information on the BusyIndicator control you can find here: http://docs.telerik.com/devtools/xamarin/controls/busyindicator/busyindicator-overview
Implement a Keyboard property which will allow users to set the virtual keyboard according to the expected input
Available in the 2018 R2 SP release.
Currently in 2019 R2 and earlier, the "options" button at the bottom of the filtering UI allows the user to rearrange and toggle the visibility of columns in the DataGrid.
I request to have a property or setting on the DataGrid or the DataGridColumn that will prevent the user from changing the visibility or ordering of columns. from that UI (just like you can prevent user filtering or user sorting)
Most PDF Viewers come with the ability to print, email, text etc the PDF that is loaded. For example, in the default iOS PDF viewer there is a "share" icon. When the "share" icon is tapped, multiple options and apps come up that allow users to "print", "message/text", "email" the PDF. It would be a great feature to have in the Xamarin UI PDF Viewer. It could just be part of the PDFViewer Toolbar options.
We should consider splitting the Telerik.Xamarin.iOS.dll into separate DLLs so that the customers can reference only the controls they need.
There is currently no Video control and all of the 3rd party ones are weak at best. Adding a video player control with full screen and subtitling/captioning that is cross platform would be a huge benefit to the Xamarin Forms community.
