1. Open RadRichTextBox
2. Click to Home tab -> Paragraph group-> Multilevel list button
4. Click to "Define New List Style"
5. In "Apply formatting to" select 4th level. Don't select '1','2','3' beforehand, select '4' right after '1'st level.

Observed result: All text except the 4th level is bold.

Expected result: Only 4th level text is bold.

Hello,

Since I updated to the most recent version of your controls, I can see that many of my users get a DivideByZero exception.

I have not made any changes at all to my code, and unfortunately I cannot reproduce it.

It's reported a couple of times per day though via our uncaught exception tracker.

The callstack is:

System.DivideByZeroException: Attempted to divide by zero.

Is this a known bug? As you can see it's thrown from your components.

When the control is declared in XAML, and we place the caret somewhere on the control the VS designer is open, and the dropdown is open.

When using OpenStreetMaps with APIKey (required for Cycle and Transport variations)

the key is not automatically passed to the builtin minimap and it shows 'Api Key Required' in some tiles.

It should be located on a new line. Instead, it is located on the same line where the text is.

The compass elements are not on the proper places when the docking is on the second monitor. To reproduce this the DPI of the monitors should be different for example 125% (main) and 150% (secondary). Also, to reproduce this you will need to enable the DPI awareness of the application by setting the dpiAware and dpiAwareness settings in the app.manifest file.

If you set the RadNavigationView's IsPaneOpen property in XAML and start the application, the items are is not opened (the pane is collapsed). You can notice that IsPaneOpen property is set back to false, when the control gets loaded.

To work this around, subscribe to the Loaded event of the RadNavigationView instance and in the event handler, set the IsPaneOpen property.

private void RadNavigationView_Loaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
	this.radNavigationView.IsPaneOpen = true;
}

The following error is thrown when the dropdown of the control is opened: Cannot find governing FrameworkElement or FrameworkContentElement for target element. ... ; target element is 'GridViewItemsSourceProvider; target property is 'ItemsSource' (type 'Object')

If the combobox is placed inside a RadGridView, the error is thrown each time the dropdown is opened (after a commit action).

Hi Telerik-Team,

i found a bug similar to forum post, but not the same.

In MultiColumnComboBox when SelectionBoxesVisibility is set  to 'collapsed' and and whatever you set AutoCompleteMode to (different from the forum post),

if you select the first item it is not shown. Although the NullText is removed. It works perfectly for all the other items. This is quiet a problem if you only have one item in the dropwdown :D

Regards,

Mats

To reproduce this:

  • Set the RadRibbonButton LargeImage/SmallImage to a property that is larger than 16 (small image) or 32 (large image).
  • Set IsAutoSize to False. This will stretch the image on all available space for the button.
  • Set IsAutoSize to True. This should uniform stretch the picture so that it fills the auto size of 16 or 32 pixels. However, the image doesn't stretch, instead its Stretch is set to None, which expand the image to its original size. This leads to the clipping.

To work this around, avoid setting the IsAutoSize property. Or use smaller pictures - 16 or 32 pixels.

While importing definition of a font similar to font:400 15px 'arial'; where the font-weight is defined as a number, this number is parsed as value for font size instead of mapping it to font-weight.

If you have an XML attribute with a string value, but the value is not fully rendered into the viewport, its color defaults to black, instead of the expected blue color.

To work this around, you can create a custom XmlTagger and override its GetTags() method. This will allow you to properly catch the string value and return it as a tag span element with its ClassificationType set to "string".

The JAWS screen reader cannot read the RadTreeListView and also its rows and cells.

This reproduces after the 2019.3.917 release.

To work this around create a custom RadTreeListViewAutomationPeer:

public class CustomTreeListView : RadTreeListView
{
	protected override AutomationPeer OnCreateAutomationPeer()
	{
		return new CustomTreeListViewAutomationPeer(this);
	}
}

public class CustomTreeListViewAutomationPeer : RadTreeListViewAutomationPeer
{
	public CustomTreeListViewAutomationPeer(RadTreeListView owner)
		: base(owner)
	{
		var methodInfo = typeof(RadTreeListViewAutomationPeer).GetMethod("GetItemPeers", System.Reflection.BindingFlags.Instance | System.Reflection.BindingFlags.NonPublic);
		methodInfo.Invoke(this, null);
	}

	protected override List<AutomationPeer> GetChildrenCore()
	{
		var frameworkPeer = new FrameworkElementAutomationPeer((FrameworkElement)this.Owner);
		return frameworkPeer.GetChildren();
	}
}

When a document is imported (for example from XAML) and then exported to DOCX or RTF, the fields lose their formatting. The issue is not observed if the document is just created.
Workaround: Change the fields display mode of all fields in headers/footers just before the export:
private void UpdateHeadersFooters(RadDocument document)
{
    foreach (Section section in document.Sections)
    {
        if (section.Headers.Default.Body != null)
        {
            this.UpdateFields(section.Headers.Default.Body);
        }

        if (section.Headers.First.Body != null)
        {
            this.UpdateFields(section.Headers.First.Body);
        }

        if (section.Headers.Even.Body != null)
        {
            this.UpdateFields(section.Headers.Even.Body);
        }

        if (section.Footers.Default.Body != null)
        {
            this.UpdateFields(section.Footers.Default.Body);
        }

        if (section.Footers.First.Body != null)
        {
            this.UpdateFields(section.Footers.First.Body);
        }

        if (section.Footers.Even.Body != null)
        {
            this.UpdateFields(section.Footers.Even.Body);
        }
    }
}

private void UpdateFields(RadDocument radDocument)
{
    RadDocumentEditor editor = new RadDocumentEditor(radDocument);
    editor.ChangeAllFieldsDisplayMode(FieldDisplayMode.Code);
}
