Currently the palette of a theme can only be set for the entire application. Setting the palette per control instance should also be possible.
Most commonly the exception message is "Input file or data stream does not conform to the expected file format specification".
This appears because of the glyphs font used in the different controls.
To work this around you can use two approaches:
See attached picture together with these steps.
Thanks in advance!
We provide such properties in our Green theme and they make customizing the read only states of all controls easier. Currently the read only state looks like disabled and there is no easy way to change it.
We have a business case, where we build a spreadsheet with collapsable groups and subgroups. Our customers wanted to have an overview about the group totals on each group and expand and collapse the groups on demand (because it's also possible in Excel).
So, it would be awesome, if you could extend your spreadsheet component with that feature as well.
I think that deploying scenario for applications and protecting dll-s are complicated. I think that better way is to use control panel. I want to send you needed informations through control panel, a and I want to provide me my version of dll-s that are protected and I can use it in my app. You build it on your own. The way you are doing it now is complicated, and can produce issues.
Currently when you highlight a row in the child GridView, the ParentRow becomes highlighted. It would be really nice to have an option so that the ParentRow would be selected when a row in the child GridView is selected. This should work recursively selecting the ParentRow all the way up the hierarchy.
I've written a workaround, but it isn't pretty.
Please add this functionality. :)
My case involves a three tier hierarchical GridView (each in single select mode). If I select a row in a third tier GridView, then I want its ParentRow to become selected on the second tier and the second tier's ParentRow to become selected on the first tier. Hopefully that makes sense.
A useful new control would be : RadWebcam It would show webcam view in realtime and call a function each x seconds (or ms), would be useful for : - user picture to attach to its user account - quick product picture - and for my need : call an external function for barcode recognization I think it would be easy and fast to create this control for WPF, and it would fit perfectly with Silverlight 4 (or 5 ?) webcam support.
In that way it will be easily modified through the palette of themes such as Windows8, Windows8Touch, Office2013 and VisualStudio2013 and it won't be needed to overwrite the whole template. That feature is very important for users with visual impairment or where low contrast screens are used.
