When desktop is shared through Office Communicator 2007 RibbonWindow is not repainting properly. The same issue can be reproduced through a remote desktop connection - when the RibbonWindow is running in a Aero Windows theme, the RibbonWindow chrome is painted in black when accessed through a remote desktop.
Add a possibility to imitate fullscreen mode.
ApplicationName is off center when TabStripAdditionalContent contains an element with long text/content
In XP and Windows10, the window goes behind the windows task bar when it is maximized. The problem manifests itself if we set explicitly the "WindowStyle" property of the RadRibbonWindow. With its "default" value, the problem do not exists. It is also reproduced when AllowTransparency = True (it requires WindowStyle = None), which is needed to set a drop shadow effect.
Currently, when the users hover around the window's border, the resizing border is 1 pixel wide. Create the border wider (higher at top and bottom borders). Workaround: Apply right margin to the content inside the window.
The minimized content is not closed when you click outside of the ribbon when you have explicitly MouseUp-ed outside of the RibbonView aria.
Initially RibbonView gets rendered design-time. Trying to edit RibbonTab-s or add new one causes the whole control to dissapear in the designer. Clean and rebuild of the solution doesn't help -- cleaning the Shadow cache of Visual Studio Designer is the onliest thing that helps. The issue reproduces with Class Library containing the Ribbon setup and IsWindowsThemeEnabled property of RibbonWIndow turned off (default value).
1. When the RibbonWindow is maximized the draggable area ends below the WindowTitle
2. In Normal state - the draggable area could be expanded in Material, Fluent and Crystal themes
A possible workaround is to change the WindowCaptionHeight property:
Drawing graphics inside the RadRibbonWindow causes performance hit. More information and videos in the support thread
The issue is reproducible in Fluent theme as well.
When there are enough items in a RibbonBackstageItem for the ScrollBar to appear, it is clipped by the RadRibbonWindow's header. Workaround: 1. Extract the templates for RadRibbonBackstage and ScrollViewer 2. Refer the new template for the ScrollViewer in the template for the RadRibbonBackstage. 3. Change the margin for the PART_VerticalScrollBar from 0, -1, -1, -1 to 0, 27, -1, -1. 4. Set the new ControlTemplate to the RadRibbonBackstage in the application.
As a workaround set a Margin="0,0,1,0" to the RadBibbonView in order to have the functionality working in the area of the RadRibbonView.
This is reproducible only if the application that holds RadRibbonView is started on another machine and you are connected to it through Remote Desktop Connection. When the keytips are enabled and you click in the main machine, then click inside the remote desktop window, the keytips are displayed.
A "Cannot access Freezable 'System.Windows.Media.LinearGradientBrush' across threads because it cannot be frozen." exception is thrown when you try to open the window for second time using ATEasy software.
A black border is displayed around the window when SizeToContent is set on Windows7 with disabled aero.
