Currently, you can navigate through the elements of the ribbon only via the keytips or the arrow keys. Add support for the Tab key as well.
In other words when you enter the keyboard navigation mode, the Tab key should work along with the arrow keys. See Word's ribbon for a reference.
The attached project demonstrates a possible approach for handling this - by editing RadRibbonWindow's control template and specifying a converter for the PART_Icon Image's Width and Height bindings. The converter in turn takes into account the DPI of the current monitor.
The feature should be similar to the TabStripAdditionalContent(https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/wpf/controls/radribbonview/how-to/howto-additional-content-near-help-icon) of RadRibbonView and RadTabControl. It would be useful to include additional information and functionality like in the MS Office tools. For example the Outlook app (check the attached image).
Currently, the minimized content of the ribbon opens up in a Popup element which leads to issues when positioned between two (or more) monitors. Introduce a feature that allows the content to opens in an Adorner element.
The RadGallery item has a property SelectionMode, inherited from ItemsControlSelector. But it is not implemented. I would like to use the Gallery to select multiple options instead of only one: *the gallery shall keep open on select one item *the items shall toggle selection on item click
Improve the performance of the keytips functionality.
In Office 2013, the user can click and press on a SplitButton or DropDownButton, which opens the drop-down without releasing the mouse. The user can move/drag the mouse down to a menu item, then release the mouse to execute the menu item. This is similar to the way menus work. Please provide this functionality in the RadRibbonSplitButton and RadRibbonDropDownButton.
Implement AutoHide functionality in the RadRibbonWindow like the Office 2013 has.
Allow the users to use special symbols Alt+123(not activating the KeyTips) and displaying the special symbol instead.
Implement keyboard navigation for the items in the ApplicationMenu - through arrow keys for example.
RibbonView galleries should support keyboard navigation, for example, up/down buttons should move the focus to the gallery, and move selection accordingly.
Users should be allowed to understand when KeyTips are opened (respectively closed).
Allow the RadRibbonView to ignore the windows menu location settings for the MinimizedPopup
