When pressing Enter or Tab in the new row the ParsingDateTime event is fired after the editor is validated. Use attached to reproduce.

private void GridView_CellEditorInitialized(object sender, GridViewCellEventArgs e)
{
    var editor = gridView.ActiveEditor as RadDateTimeEditor;
    var editorElement = editor.EditorElement as RadDateTimeEditorElement;
    editorElement.TextBoxElement.MaskType = MaskType.FreeFormDateTime;
    var provider = ((FreeFormDateTimeProvider)editorElement.TextBoxElement.Provider);
    editorElement.TextBoxElement.Provider = new MyFreeFormDateTimeProvider(provider.Mask, provider.Culture, provider.Owner);
}

class MyFreeFormDateTimeProvider : FreeFormDateTimeProvider
{
    public MyFreeFormDateTimeProvider(string mask, CultureInfo culture, RadMaskedEditBoxElement owner) : base(mask, culture, owner)

The DateTime Value is lost when using a custom format "dd.MM.yyyy" in RadgridView and custom provider is used.

Workaround:
Set the MaxDate in the custom provider:
Public Class MyMaskDateTimeProvider
  Inherits MaskDateTimeProvider

  Public Sub New(mask As String, culture As CultureInfo, owner As RadMaskedEditBoxElement)
        MyBase.New(mask, culture, owner)
        Me.MaxDate = DateTime.MaxValue
    End Sub

End Class

We have upgraded from WinControl UI 2010 to 2019 R2.

we have a lot of non-data bound radgridview that we process our data and add each row manually.

The radgridView.Rows.Add(rowdatacolumn1, rowdatacolumn2, rowdatacolumn3) used to return the row index of the added row. It is now returning -1 .

This is breaking a lot of our code.

Please use the project attached.

1.Run the application with multi-monitor configuration.
2.Undock toolWindow1 from RadForm1 and maximize it to the different window.
3.Close the application (the layout will be saved).
4.Run the application again.

Workaround: handle the FloatingWindowCreated event and set FormWindowState.Maximized for the floating window.

    protected override void OnLoad(EventArgs e)
    {
      base.OnLoad(e);
        this.radDock1.FloatingWindowCreated+=radDock1_FloatingWindowCreated;
      if (File.Exists(FileName))
        radDock1.LoadFromXml(FileName);
    }

    private void radDock1_FloatingWindowCreated(object sender, Telerik.WinControls.UI.Docking.FloatingWindowEventArgs e)
    {
        e.Window.WindowState = FormWindowState.Maximized;

Hi,

using a RadScheduler into a desktop application. It seems like, on mouse-down event happening into a cell of the first row, the grid of the scheduler is shifting down of a row, resulting in the mouse handle being on the previous row's cell. No mouse wheel scrolled, no other mouse movement. Just one left-click. The result is that on mouse-up we are in a different cell and our event-handler is getting confused.

Sorry for not having any code snippet, I just attach a video of what's happening. Consider that I have only positioned the mouse on the cell at 8am and left-clicked. Tested also with version 2019.2.508 (even though in our app we are still using 2016.2.608).

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Hi,

I have a problem with the expansion of the last row.

After Row Expanding and Row Collapsing the last or second last row, the last row is not visible because it seems that there I some kind of lock on the scrollbar : it doesn’t scroll down neither with the mouse wheel nor with the button so it is not possible to move on the last row.

If instead you scroll up and then down the row became visible again.

In the attached example project.

Regards

To reproduce: open the VirtualGrid >> First Look example in QSF and follow the steps:

1) I have a virtual grid which has both vertical and horizontal scroll bars.

2) Scroll to the very bottom of the grid

3) Select the last row

4) Scroll all the way to the right

At this moment the selected row disappears from the view. While scrolling horizontally the vertical scrollbar jumps several rows above although it seems scrolled to the bottom.

Hello,

The CustomColorsConfigLocationNeeded event fires on dialog close but does not seem to fire on dialog open or load. So I can save a custom location for the custom colors when the dialog is closed but can't reference that location when the dialog is subsequently opened again. What am I missing?

Best regards,

Robert

Dear Admins.

I'm developing an application which have Parent (MDI) and some child forms.

Using Telerik UI for WinForms R2 2019 SP1.

Code for Opening the Form.

01.private void MnuItemSuppliers_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
02.{
03.    if (!IsFormOpen(typeof(frmSupplierList)))
04.    {
05.        CloseChildForm();
06.        frmSupplierList m_frmListSupplier = new frmSupplierList
07.        {
08.            Width = this.Width,
09.            Height = this.Height,
10.            MdiParent = this,
11.            MaximizeBox = false,
12.            MinimizeBox = false,
13.            ControlBox = false,
14.            WindowState = FormWindowState.Maximized
15.        };
16.        m_frmListSupplier.Show();
17.    }
18.}

But Still i can see the ControlBox and Minimize and Maximize Buttons on the Top right Corner.

Image Attached.

When i Use the Same Coding and Properties using Standard Windows Forms. It behave like as required.

Please help what is wrong with this.

IMPORTANT: If both colors are changed at design time and you set the Value of RadLinearGauge to 0, this will provoke a similar error leading Visual Studio to crash.

Workaround: specify a minimum width/height for the gauge:

this.radLinearGauge1.MinimumSize = new Size(1, (int)this.linearGaugeBar1.Offset+1);
