When the AutoSizeItems is set to TRUE and the DropDownList style is DropDown, and set to RTL, then the AutoComleteSuggest DropDownList pops up at the upper side of the form with no correlation to the position of the DropDownList control.

I have use following code to use Both Scrollbar in RadChartView While Zoom.
but it not scroll my chart .

radchart1.HorizontalScroll.Enabled = true;
radchart1.HorizontalScroll.Visible = true;
radchart1.VerticalScroll.Enabled = true;
radchart1.VerticalScroll.Visible = true;
Please help me.

Hello Kalpesh,

Currently panning in RadChartView cannot be performed using the scrollbars. We have a feature request logged here: https://feedback.telerik.com/Project/154/Feedback/Details/111013-add-radchartview-add-a-scrollbar-that-controls-the-pan-and-zoom

Please subscribe to the item so that you be updated when its status changes. For the time being I can suggest using a RadRangeSelector control to zoom and pan the chart. More information is available here: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/rangeselector/overview

Regards,
Hristo

Do you have a version which can support Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0? I run a sample application TelerikUIforWinFormsDemoAppsHub\BugTracker asking for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0.

We had some PC still running Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.

To reproduce: please refer to the attached gif file and sample project.

Workaround: when you set the DrawFill property to true, specify the BackColor to the desired one and reset for the rest of the cells.

private void radGridView1_CellFormatting(object sender, Telerik.WinControls.UI.CellFormattingEventArgs e)
{
    if (e.Column.Name == "ProductName" && e.Row is GridViewDataRowInfo)
    {
        if (e.CellElement.Value.ToString().Contains("C"))
        {
            e.CellElement.DrawFill = true;
            e.CellElement.BackColor = Color.Yellow;
            e.CellElement.GradientStyle = GradientStyles.Solid;
            e.CellElement.ForeColor = Color.OliveDrab;
        }
        else
        {
            e.CellElement.ResetValue(LightVisualElement.DrawFillProperty, ValueResetFlags.Local);
            e.CellElement.ResetValue(LightVisualElement.GradientStyleProperty, ValueResetFlags.Local);
            e.CellElement.ResetValue(LightVisualElement.ForeColorProperty, ValueResetFlags.Local);
            e.CellElement.ResetValue(LightVisualElement.BackColorProperty, ValueResetFlags.Local);
        }
    }
    else
    {
        e.CellElement.ResetValue(LightVisualElement.DrawFillProperty, ValueResetFlags.Local);
        e.CellElement.ResetValue(LightVisualElement.GradientStyleProperty, ValueResetFlags.Local);
        e.CellElement.ResetValue(LightVisualElement.ForeColorProperty, ValueResetFlags.Local);
        e.CellElement.ResetValue(LightVisualElement.BackColorProperty, ValueResetFlags.Local);
    }

To reproduce:
- Add a RadGridView and a button to a blank form.
- Subscribe to CellValidating event from the grid and set the cancel property of the CellValidatingEventArgs to true upon some condition.
- Add click event handler for the button and print a message in it.
- Start the application and enter some invalid data in the grid cell, then click the button.
- The code from the button's event handler is executed.

Workaround use a flag to determine when to execute the corresponding button code:
bool validating = false;

void radGridView1_CellValidating(object sender, Telerik.WinControls.UI.CellValidatingEventArgs e)
{
    if (e.Value.ToString().Length < 5)
    {
        e.Cancel = true;
        validating = true;
        e.Row.ErrorText = "Validation error!";
    }
    else
    {
        validating = false;
    }
}

private void radButton1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
    if (!validating)
    {
        Debug.WriteLine("Executed");
    }
}

Workaround:

public RadForm1()
{
    InitializeComponent();

    this.radSpinEditor1.SpinElement.TextChanging += SpinElement_TextChanging;
    this.radSpinEditor1.TextChanged += radSpinEditor1_TextChanged;
}

private void SpinElement_TextChanging(object sender, Telerik.WinControls.TextChangingEventArgs e)
{
    int numericValue = 0;
    if (!int.TryParse(e.NewValue, out numericValue))
    {
        this.radSpinEditor1.Tag = e.OldValue;
        e.Cancel = false;
    }
}

private void radSpinEditor1_TextChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
    if (this.radSpinEditor1.Tag != null)
    {
        this.radSpinEditor1.SpinElement.Text = this.radSpinEditor1.Tag.ToString();
        this.radSpinEditor1.Tag = null;

The Free Form Date Time Parsing of a RadTimePicker is not able to recognize "hhmm" as an legit value (ex. 1030 for half pas ten).

This improvement could be nice, as it is a common way to write an time. It is working in Outlook Appointement Form.

Create a grid with more than 20 columns and add 5K rows for example. Maximize the form and try to scroll with mouse wheel. You will notice that the scrolling performance is worse compared to the normal state of the form with less visible visual elements.

Workaround: this.radGridView1.EnableFastScrolling = true; and use the scrollbar's thumb

Second workaround: use paging: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/gridview/paging/overview Thus, you will display as many rows as possible to display on the screen per page. Instead of scrolling, you will navigate through pages.

Please run the attached sample project and refer to the attached screenshots. RadPropertyGrid doesn't respect the Description attribute.

 this.radPropertyGrid1.SelectedObject = new Item(123,"Item", ExposureMode.FullAuto);

public class Item
{
    public int Id { get; set; }

    public string Name { get; set; }

    public ExposureMode Mode { get; set; }

    public Item(int id, string name, ExposureMode mode)
    {
        this.Id = id;
        this.Name = name;
        this.Mode = mode;
    }
}

public enum ExposureMode
{
    [Description("Full Auto")]
    FullAuto,
    [Description("Auto Filter, Fixed Exposure")]
    AutoFilFixedExp,
    [Description("Fixed Filter, Auto Exposure")]
    FixedFilAutoExp,
    [Description("Fixed Filter, Fixed Exposure")]

        public RadForm1()
        {
            InitializeComponent();

            this.radPropertyGrid1.SelectedObject = new Item("zero", "uniqueId","alpha");

            this.radPropertyGrid1.EnableSorting = true;
            SortDescriptor sort = new SortDescriptor("Value", ListSortDirection.Ascending);
            this.radPropertyGrid1.SortDescriptors.Add(sort);
        }

        public class Item
        {
            public string Text { get; set; }

            public string Identifier { get; set; }

            public string Value { get; set; }

            public Item(string text, string identifier, string value)
            {
                this.Text = text;
                this.Identifier = identifier;
                this.Value = value;
            }
        }

Workaround#1: Set SortOrder to None

this.radPropertyGrid1.SortOrder = SortOrder.None;

Workaround#2: use a custom comparer:
            this.radPropertyGrid1.SortDescriptors.Add(sort);

            this.radPropertyGrid1.PropertyGridElement.PropertyTableElement.ListSource.CollectionView.Comparer = new MyComparer();

        public class MyComparer : IComparer<Telerik.WinControls.UI.PropertyGridItem>
        {
            int IComparer<Telerik.WinControls.UI.PropertyGridItem>.Compare(Telerik.WinControls.UI.PropertyGridItem x, Telerik.WinControls.UI.PropertyGridItem y)
            {
                if (x.Value != null && y.Value != null)
                {
                    return x.Value.ToString().CompareTo(y.Value.ToString());
                }
                return 0;
            }
        }

Bitdefender moved a threat to quarantine. File name: c:\program files (x86)\progress\telerik ui for winforms r3 2017\examples\medicalapp\medicalappcs\bin\medicalappcs.exe. It is recommended that you run a System Scan to make sure your system is clean.

Please refer to the attached sample project. If you drag a new shape or copy/paste an existing one it is not added to the DataSource collection as it is added in RadGanttView for example.

Workaround: handle the ItemsChanged event and add a new record to the DataSource manually.

Hi Mostafa,

The end users can copy a single cell even when the SelectionMode is set to FullRowSelect via the ContextMenu when opening it on any of the data cells. If the context menu is opened on the row header they will select the whole row. Please check the attached video: radgridview-context-menu-behavior.gif.

If you would like to copy a single cell using the Ctrl-C command and have the grid setup in FullRowSelect mode please check the attached project featuring a solution. I am also attaching a video showing the result using the custom implementation in the project: radgridview-full-row-ctrl-c.gif

To reproduce:
- Add 3 MDI child forms with a lot of gauges.
- Set their WindowState to maximized.
- Show each upon a button click.

Workaround:
Set the state of all forms to normal, before adding a new maximized form.
