When deleting all content (e.g. Select All [CTRL+A] + Delete [Del]) in the document, it would be convenient for the user to preserve all formatting (local span formatting + local paragraph formatting + style) applied on the last paragraph.

This will ensure that the user will continue edit the document with last current font, font family, etc.

If this operation is applied on an empty document, though, the styling of the single paragraph should be reset to the defaults for the document.

Workaround: set it to the element:

 radToggleSwitch1.ToggleSwitchElement.Font = new Font("Segoe Script", 18, FontStyle.Regular);

Hello,

I'm contacting to you regarding the RadDiagram in WinForms. Currently I have an issue with the layout by using the AStartRouter (see attached picture). Please find below the code used to setup the router:

this.diagram.RoutingService.Router = new Telerik.Windows.Diagrams.Core.AStarRouter(this.diagram.DiagramElement)

AvoidShapes = true,
WallOptimization = true
};
this.diagram.RoutingService.AutoUpdate = true;
this.diagram.RouteConnections = true;

Thanks for your help.

Regards

When trying to import a document containing bookmark and BookmarkRangeEnd is after the last paragraph, a StackOverflowException is thrown in IntervalNode while trying to rebuild the document cache. (RadDocumentChildrenCache.RebuildTree()).

The same could be observed if the bookmark end is last in the header/footer, between table cells in the RadDocument body, or when all paragraphs after the bookmark range end are hidden (with vanish property).

Workaround: Detect the problematic annotations and remove them:
foreach (var rangeStart in document.EnumerateChildrenOfType<AnnotationRangeStart>())
{
    if (rangeStart.End == null || rangeStart.End.Parent == null || rangeStart.End.Parent.Parent == null)
    {
        //MessageBox.Show("This indicates a problem.");
        rangeStart.Parent.Children.Remove(rangeStart);
    }
}

Note: Until 2017 R2 SP1 release StackOverflowException is thrown, after this release an ArgumentException should be thrown.

Changing the preferred width of columns to percentages from the Table Properties dialog actually sets them in pixels.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Insert a table

2) select table column property and set preferred width to 20%

3) press "next column" button and set preferred width to 20%

4) Go to previous columns

Expected: Column width is set in percentage.

Actual: Some (or all) columns have width set in pixels.

TextPosition label sizing is incorrect. Regardless of AutoSize and AutoSizeLabels settings, only the first label size is calculated correctly. I've attached a project and a screenshot of the issue. It seems size isn't calculated if TextPosition == Telerik.WinControls.UI.LayoutItemTextPosition.Top.

I am using the PDFViewer control in a VisualStudio VB.NET application. The PDF is not showing all the details as it appears in Adobe PDF Reader. In particular, the text is not showing up (but is highlighted when selected) and there is gray shading that is not visible. See attached sample file. Please advise.

Please refer to the attached gif file. You will notice that for the GridViewMaskBoxColumn  with numeric mask the filtering doesn't work. For the other columns each key stroke filters the grid rows.

Workaround: either use a GridViewDecimalColumn or change the default editor for the GridViewMaskBoxColumn :

            this.radGridView1.EditorRequired += radGridView1_EditorRequired;

        private void radGridView1_EditorRequired(object sender, EditorRequiredEventArgs e)
        {
            if (this.radGridView1.CurrentColumn.HeaderText == "MaskBoxColumn")
            {
                GridSpinEditor spinEditor = new GridSpinEditor();
                RadSpinEditorElement element = spinEditor.EditorElement as RadSpinEditorElement;
                element.ShowUpDownButtons = false;
                e.Editor = spinEditor;
            }
        }

Currently, I’m using the Radscheduler MultiDayView to create a “two week” view in which the end user has the possibility to choose if he wants to see weekend days or not.
When this view is used in combination with appointments spanning multiple days and the display of the weekend days, every thing works fine (with_weekend.png). The appointment starts at 06/21/19 05:00 and ends 06/24/19 21:05.
However, if weekend days are not shown in this view (without_weekend.png), part of the same appointment is shown on 06/25/19 and the end time on 06/24/19 is also incorrect.

How can I solve this? It is not an option to show it as an “All day appointment” since the customer wants to know the exact start and end time.

In my gridview need support of different heights of rows. I solved it with the autosize property.

But now I have a side action that the header row and filter row also react to the autosize property.

Attached you can see this behaviour...

Here my code:

Grid.MasterView.TableFilteringRow.MinHeight = 40
Grid.AutoSizeRows = True

Is there a chance to separate data rows from filter and header row?

Regards,

Dimitri

Please refer to the attached gif file.

Let's take for instance demo application with its default document, with text "RadRichTextEditor for WinForms" at the beginning in font Calibri of size 28. Suppose the user wants to add A, then empty line, then C in single line, followed by the rest of the document, and to have these three new lines in Times New Roman in size 10.

If there is no empty line, but letter B in middle line, then user can set caret to document start, set the font and size, and type A<Return>B<Return>C<Return>. And it would look fine (and even then, if we set caret just after B and press Return the new paragraph will have spacing after set to 7.5 for no apparent reason).

If we want an empty line instead of B in the line, then there is no simple way to do it. Typing A<Return><Return>C<Return> would produce a huge gap between A and C (we still first set the caret, and font and size). One way to accomplish what we want is to select all new text, set font size to something other than 10, and then back to 10 (which is also weird to have to do).

So, when I drop a RadStatusStrip on my radForm. In that object, I then add a RadWaitingBarElement. Then I change SPRING = TRUE and WAITINGSTYLE = "Dash", all in the properties window.  At design time, it looks good.  However, at run time, it reverts back to the default bar and just scrolls across the screen.  Did I find a bug? Do I need to change other properties of the RadWaitingBarElement?  Also, I noticed that when I change the WaitingIndicators in property page, those changes to take affect either. Very confusing and frustrating

 We are using Telerik version 2018.3.911.40

GridView is not correctly drawn if it's not populated and the theme is set to "TelerikMetro" or "TelerikMetroBlue" (the bottom line is missing).

Steps to reproduce the behavior: create a RadForm, add a RadGridView to it and set the theme to "TelerikMetro" or "TelerikMetroBlue" by using ThemeResolutionService.ApplicationThemeName.
