Please refer to the attached gif file.

Let's take for instance demo application with its default document, with text "RadRichTextEditor for WinForms" at the beginning in font Calibri of size 28. Suppose the user wants to add A, then empty line, then C in single line, followed by the rest of the document, and to have these three new lines in Times New Roman in size 10.

If there is no empty line, but letter B in middle line, then user can set caret to document start, set the font and size, and type A<Return>B<Return>C<Return>. And it would look fine (and even then, if we set caret just after B and press Return the new paragraph will have spacing after set to 7.5 for no apparent reason).

If we want an empty line instead of B in the line, then there is no simple way to do it. Typing A<Return><Return>C<Return> would produce a huge gap between A and C (we still first set the caret, and font and size). One way to accomplish what we want is to select all new text, set font size to something other than 10, and then back to 10 (which is also weird to have to do).

So, when I drop a RadStatusStrip on my radForm. In that object, I then add a RadWaitingBarElement. Then I change SPRING = TRUE and WAITINGSTYLE = "Dash", all in the properties window.  At design time, it looks good.  However, at run time, it reverts back to the default bar and just scrolls across the screen.  Did I find a bug? Do I need to change other properties of the RadWaitingBarElement?  Also, I noticed that when I change the WaitingIndicators in property page, those changes to take affect either. Very confusing and frustrating

 We are using Telerik version 2018.3.911.40

Hi there

I found this issue in RadTreeView filtering

I have a 2-level text structure programmatically created

after creation I use the command

radtree.ExpandAll()

This is the only event handled

Private Sub txtFilter_TextChanged(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles txtFilter.TextChanged

        radtreeNavigazione.Filter = txtFilter.Text

End Sub

When I set a filter with at least 4 letters and then I select the text in the filter box and press "back", the app freezes with cpu working at 50 %.

I use this workaround to solve

Private Sub txtFilter_TextChanged(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles txtFilter.TextChanged

        radtreeNavigazione.Filter = txtFilter.Text

End Sub

I use this workaround

Private Sub txtFilter_TextChanged(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles txtFilter.TextChanged

      radtree.CollapseAll()

      radtreeNavigazione.Filter = txtFilter.Text

      radtree.ExpandAll()

End Sub

In this way it works, but I wanted to report the issue.

Thank you in advance for your attention

Hello,

I have already used your ItemFormatting event in my code and implemented it the same way you have provided.

In my code, i have created 7-8 messages and fixed the first msg's timestamp to "6/6/2019 11:53:08 AM" and the remaining messages with timestamp of 2 minutes more than this time. Whenever the event is triggered i wrote a code which compares the timestamp of my message with this timestamp "6/6/2019 11:53:08 AM". Conditionally only the first message falls in this condition and i paint it red, which works well for first time (On load) and then when i scroll my chat, the event unnecessarily paints the remaining msgs too, which should not happen.

I am attaching my .cs file with designer please refer to it, and resolve this asap. Looking forward to your response.

Thanks.

GridView is not correctly drawn if it's not populated and the theme is set to "TelerikMetro" or "TelerikMetroBlue" (the bottom line is missing).

Steps to reproduce the behavior: create a RadForm, add a RadGridView to it and set the theme to "TelerikMetro" or "TelerikMetroBlue" by using ThemeResolutionService.ApplicationThemeName.

Hi All,

I have made User control for custom node, in this user control i have used following controls

1 RadLabel (no of control - 3)

2 RadPanel (no of control -1)

3 PictureBox (no of Control - 4 )

4 TableLayoutPanel (no of control -3)

Means i have used total 11 controls within my user control.

Height of usercontrol = 146

Width of Usercontrol = 595

I have taken RadTreeView and above UserControl added as Node,following properties of treeview is set

this.radTreeView1.DataSource = Staff.GetStaff();
            this.radTreeView1.ParentMember = "ParentID";
            this.radTreeView1.ChildMember = "ID";
            this.radTreeView1.DisplayMember = "Department";
            this.radTreeView1.CreateNodeElement += this.OnCreateNodeElement;

this.radTreeView1.TreeViewElement.AutoSizeItems = true;
            this.radTreeView1.ShowRootLines = false;
            this.radTreeView1.FullRowSelect = false;
            this.radTreeView1.ShowLines = true;
            this.radTreeView1.LineStyle = TreeLineStyle.Solid;
            this.radTreeView1.LineColor = Color.FromArgb(110, 153, 210);
            this.radTreeView1.TreeIndent = 50;

this.radTreeView1.ExpandAll();

But when i run the code it shows like this means my control is not displaying and the property "AutoSizeItems" is not working.

hope for quick reply

RadGridView data source contains date values from years 2018 and 2019. After adding Excel like filters to the RadGridView and selecting year 2019 no rows were displayed, even though some values did match the filter condition (see attachment).

Please refer to the attached sample project and follow the steps from the gif file.

Shrink the ribbon to create sub groups for expanding. Then, maximize the form. You will notice that the groups are still collapsed although there is so much space.

Hi,

using a RadScheduler into a desktop application. It seems like, on mouse-down event happening into a cell of the first row, the grid of the scheduler is shifting down of a row, resulting in the mouse handle being on the previous row's cell. No mouse wheel scrolled, no other mouse movement. Just one left-click. The result is that on mouse-up we are in a different cell and our event-handler is getting confused.

Sorry for not having any code snippet, I just attach a video of what's happening. Consider that I have only positioned the mouse on the cell at 8am and left-clicked. Tested also with version 2019.2.508 (even though in our app we are still using 2016.2.608).

Thanks in advance and best regards,
