When you set the AutoSize property to true, the control becomes enormous - Size (5002, 5002).

There is no specific logic for auto-sizing the control. We should either remove the AutoSize property or size the control according to the rows/columns it uses.

Please refer to the attached sample project and follow the steps from the gif file.

You will notice that each time a random group displays only images (no text) when the groups don't fit in the ribbon's width.

Workaround:

        public MDIForm()
        {
            InitializeComponent();
            this.radRibbonBar1.RibbonBarElement.ItemVisiblityStateChanging += this.RibbonBarElement_ItemVisiblityStateChanging;
        }

        private void RibbonBarElement_ItemVisiblityStateChanging(object sender, ItemVisiblityStateChangingEventArgs args)
        {
            if (args.NextVisibilityState == ChunkVisibilityState.NoText)
            {
                args.Cancel = true;
            }
        }

I am currently working in Telerik v2019.3.917 and .Net 4.5.2. I have multiple theme's setup for a local application for my users but I am seeing something odd with the Telerik.WinControls.Themes.HighContrastBlack theme. It appears that I am unable to select more than one cell in this theme. My grid has multiselect as true and SelectionMode as CellSelect. I have tried holding ctrl and clicking cells, clicking the row header, holding the mouse down and dragging, and using Ctrl+A but none of these select more than one cell.

I am setting the application theme on launch:

var _t = new Telerik.WinControls.Themes.HighContrastBlackTheme();
ThemeResolutionService.ApplicationThemeName = "HighContrastBlack";

Themes that work: All Fluents, All Material, All VS.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

When pressing Enter or Tab in the new row the ParsingDateTime event is fired after the editor is validated. Use attached to reproduce.

private void GridView_CellEditorInitialized(object sender, GridViewCellEventArgs e)

    var editorElement = editor.EditorElement as RadDateTimeEditorElement;
    editorElement.TextBoxElement.MaskType = MaskType.FreeFormDateTime;

    editorElement.TextBoxElement.Provider = new MyFreeFormDateTimeProvider(provider.Mask, provider.Culture, provider.Owner);
}

class MyFreeFormDateTimeProvider : FreeFormDateTimeProvider

I am using Visual Studio 2019, version 16.3.1 and when using the DropDownList and running it in the VS debugger, the DropDownList get populated properly, but when you click the down arrow for the first time, the list drops down and you can scroll with the mouse wheel, but it will not allow you to select anything with the mouse.

If you click the down arrow to close the list, and click it again to reopen the list, it works properly - selecting the item chosen.

I have tried numerous property setting in attempt to narrow down if any of the properties set are causing it, but have been unsuccessful.

I have created several test projects with only 1 form and only the dropdownlist on the form and this happens reliably in every project I have tested within Visual Studio.

If I build the executable and run it directly, the DropDownList works properly as expected.

The DropDownList version is listed as 2019.3.917.40 in Visual Studio 2019 16.3.1.

I opened the project in JetBrains Rider on the same machine and everything works fine.

Run the attached sample project and select the second page. You will notice that the tasks are missing. This used to work in R2 2019 (version 2019.2.508).

Workaround: Initialize the RadGanttView.BindingContext before adding it to the page:

        Dim Gantt As New RadGanttView
        Gantt.Dock = DockStyle.Fill
        Gantt.BindingContext = New BindingContext()
        RadPageViewPage2.Controls.Add(Gantt)

Hi Progress Team,

I have encountered another issue in the RadPopupEditor control. For RadSpinEditor controls as well as for RadTextBox controls on the Popup container form, no value changed or validating/validation events are fired. For RadSpinEditor controls the ValueChanged event is fired when the spin buttons are used to change the value but when the user directly enters a value in the editor element and the control losts the focus (either by TAB or mouse click outside the control) the ValueChanged event is missing.

I have attached a small VS2017 project which illustrates the issue.

Thank you very much!

Regards,

Jürgen

We have upgraded from WinControl UI 2010 to 2019 R2.

we have a lot of non-data bound radgridview that we process our data and add each row manually.

The radgridView.Rows.Add(rowdatacolumn1, rowdatacolumn2, rowdatacolumn3) used to return the row index of the added row. It is now returning -1 .

This is breaking a lot of our code.

To reproduce the problem, we need 2 Monitors with different scaling.
Let's say that Monitor 1 has 150% Scaling and Monitor 2 has 100% (Monitor 2 is the main monitor). When starting the program and click on radbutton1, then an empty form (Toolbox) is shown. Move the Toolbox form to the other monitor and then open the RadDropDownList. The problem is that the drop-down is shown not under the control.

Please refer to the attached project.

I've got a tree with multiple nodes like

document1

 -page 1

  -page 2

document1

 -page 1

  -page 2

  -page 3

...

document10

 -page 1

  -page 2

Due to the size of the treeview, only 2 or 3 documents are on screen, the rest is scrolled. (manually added items, no dynamic or lazy loading)

Lets say I click page 2 of document one, hold the mouse button to select more and go down to the last document (the tree is automatically scrolled down, as expected)

But when I go back to review what I selected, only the last items on screen are selected (documents 9 and 10 for example).

When I try to do the same selection with the arrow keys and the shift key, it works fine, but not with the mouse.
