When I open a load test and change it's settings to a different total concurrent load, and update my concurrent goal as well prior to executing the load test, these new settings are not honored and the load test executes with the previous settings. Here is a video I recorded of this issue : http://screencast.com/t/n4Q9mD3gz
VS 2013, Browser type: Chrome and IE 1. Open Telerik Test Studio project VSPlugin 2. Try to debug a script in Chrome that contains "Handle Dialog' step Expected behavior: to be able to debug without errors since the script is executable Actual behavior: it fails saying unexpected dialog encountered. If the browser is Firefox it works as expected.
Image verification steps always fails with difference more than 100% no matter if 'Verify Entire Image' is checked or unchecked. Steps to reproduce: 1. Record a simple image verification test 2. Add a step with 'Verify Entire Image' unchecked and select part of the image to be verified) 3. Add a step with 'Verify Entire Image' checked and verify the whole image. 4. Execute the test. Expected behavior: to successfully verify the image Actual behavior: executed with 'Verify Entire Image' unchecked - Percentage difference is more than 100% although expected and actual images are the same. But selected part of the image is not correctly highlighted in the expected image. Step is failing. executed with 'Verify Entire Image' checked - Percentage difference is more than 100% although expected and actual images are the same. Step is failing
Steps for repro: Execute the attached test (Web Test). Step 12 hangs infinitely without prompting an error message. Expected behavior: To fail after certain period of time. If you enable step 11, which is wait for exist for element in the failing step, the test passes. Also if you change the find logic to tagname == span and TextContent == Style, it starts working.
Steps to reproduce: browser Chrome. OS: Win 10 1. Open and run the attached test. Expected behavior: The OnBeofreUnload dialog to be handled. Actual behavior: The test hangs with the dialog window opened. Note: It works for FF and IE on Win 10 and for all browser on Win 8.1
In Test Studio iOS native testing, once project is opened I immediately receive the attached "Recorder Host Error - Cannot connect to message server." this worked correctly with the same settings and configuration just an hour before the error began. The previous time this happened only a machine reboot seemed to fix the issue, but it has returned again.
The following markup: <div class="crumbs"> <a href="/Property/List/F__20446"><span>My Campus</span></a> / <a href="/Property/List/F__52872"><span>ME Test</span></a> / <a href="/Property/List/F__52888"><span>My Multi Edits</span></a> / Americas (A-N) </div> produces wrong verification step for the contained text: "/// Americas (A-N)" The correct verification should be against the following text: "/ / / Americas (A-N)"
Telerik Testing Framework Mouse clicks do nothing when a test is executed with nUnit console runner (in a WPF app). The same test passes when executed with VS.
During the initial recording Test Studio records the selection option correctly with SelectBy steps. During the execution the proper options are selected, however some jQuery event is not triggered hence after saving the changes no selection is saved. As a workaround I have tried adding manually the option element into the element explorer and perform a click step against it. Test Studio is clicking in upper left corner of the browser (step 9 in the attached project) . When click edit in live TS is not able to highlight that element at all. To reproduce the issue see the attached test project.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Execute the test attached internally using Firefox. Problem: 1 Expected behavior: The test should pass Actual behavior: Step 15 fails with the following exception: '02/08/2016 10:01:39 AM' - 'Fail' : 15. The above problem is not reproduced with IE and Chrome Problem: 2 When I do Run to Here on step 14 and try re-record step 15 the Highlighting does not work, I guess this behavior is related to the first problem when we are not able to get the Markup. The above problem is not reproduced with IE
In Chrome load url: https://qa-apps.availity.com/availity/web/public.elegant.login Credentials for login: telerik001/ Password2@ From left menu click "Eligibility and Benefits", and select the "Eligibility and Benefits Inquiry" option from the expanded menu. On the loaded page there are 2 comboboxes and highlighting does not work
A customer has a WPF app that will display a warning message at startup if Internet is not available. The user can click past this warning message and still use the app. However Test Studio will not record any actions in the app in this state. It will record just fine if the app finds Internet connectivity and starts normal. Details for obtaining, installing and running the customers WPF app can be found on the internal bug report.
A customer specific WPF application has a sort of splash screen and long initialization time. If there's no execution delay at the beginning of the Test Studio test, i.e. the test starts with a Click X, the WPF test will hang indefinitely. No error is given, no timeout happens, it simply acts like it's caught in some sort of infinite loop. Repro steps will be given in the internal problem report.
I am not completely sure how to explain this issue. In one of my tests, I have a coded step. In Visual Studio, I have resharper and I used resharper to refactored the page declaration to this: public Pages Pages => _pages ?? (_pages = new Pages(Manager.Current)); There is only a compilation error in Test Studio. Something to do with C# updates.
After using the Visual Debugger to modify the find expression of an element, after the test is complete Test Studio prompts you to save changes into the test project. After you click Apply, Test Studio may take excessively long to store the changes. Here's a video demonstration from a customer having the problem: http://screencast.com/t/OHxRLid9MeW Repro steps will be given in the internal bug report.
Access to the application and a test project are in the internal description.
We should enable teams to use the Friendly Naming option for elements when recording, not just when manually adding elements to the repository. Teams with any significant application end up with huge repositories full of badly named elements. This turns into a maintenance nightmare because teams can't be expected to go back and rename everything. Adding this to the natural workflow would help teams by getting the right information at the best point in time: right when they're recording. The ideal flow would be * Turn on Friendly Naming * When recording, if an element is already in the repository, don't show the dialog * If an element is not in the repository, show the dialog and allow the user to enter a friendly name
1.Using the test attached do Run to Here on the last step using Firefox. 2. When the recorder attaches try to highlight Leprosy and locate the element in the DOM. Expected result: You should locate a label element in the DOM Actual behavior: A span or div element is located in the DOM. Refer to the screenshot attached internally for more details. Also try to highlight the td elements elements above <td width="5%"> <td width="94%"> In Test Studio their order is reversed, while when using Dev Tools for highlighting they are displayed correctly. This works fine in IE and Chrome
Steps to reproduce and access to the application are in the internal description.
When using an existing web test which contains a Handle Download Dialog, recording of the user profile stops as soon as the download dialog is successfully handled. None of the follow on test steps are executed during recording. As a result what you end up with is an incomplete user profile. Sample web test to reproduce the problem is attached.
