Using the project attached in the internal description try to build the solution. You will get compile errors. Upon further investigation it turns out that the elements are not present in the Pages.g.cs file
Steps to reproduce: 1) Configure WPF test to use Telerik WPF Controls Examples application 2) In app, navigate to the 'Context Menu - RadTreeView' integration example 3) Expand the RadTreeView size by adding more siblings/children so that the vertical scroll bar is visible, name one of these uniquely making sure it will require scrolling to be visible 4) Give a long name to at least one sibling/child so that the horizontal scroll bar is also visible, keep this customized WPF RadTreeView open 5) Back in Test Studio, write a coded step which searches and scrolls to the uniquely named item 6) Select coded step and 'run selected step' Expected result: The desired item will be found, scrolled to until visible and hovered over Actual result: The desired item is found, scrolled to until it is directly under the horizontal scroll bar, the horizontal scroll bar is hovered over
When I saved a file in a WPF application, Test Studio added step „Handle “SaveFile”dialog” with Filetype, DialogTitle and etc. (It’s OK) But when TestStudio start executing this test, It stopped on the step "handle Save dialog" with error „Timed out waiting '10000' msec. for any dialog to be handled '1'”, but this dialog is shown and active in application, Test studio didn't identify it. After some tests I found that if I manual change a “Handle SaveFile” step with “Handle OpenFile” step and change Dialogtitle and HandleButton to „Save As” and „Save” the test will be executing correctly. After these changes, when test executing, Test Studio identify „Save window” as „OpenFile” dialog, and correctly save a file and continue to next step.
When the POST request contains a query string in the URL, Test Studio will not scan the body for bindable dynamic targets. The webform data the POST contains cannot be selected as a dynamic target.
I renamed my node's friendly name and caption to check for partial match (~SSR-Viewer) and then recorded a few steps for which the elements were added under the partial match node name. After that I launched a new recorder and the newly recorded elements are coming under a new node with the full name, even the elements that are already under partial window name are created again under full window name.
n attempting to prepare Manual Test Scripts in Test Studio, it has become apparent that it is not unusual for Test Studio to mix up the steps after the test has been saved, so that when the test is next opened, either for edit or to be run, the order of the steps makes very little sense at all. Find more details and repro steps in the bug logged regarding this issue.
Steps to reproduce: See attached project - SilverlightDemo test. Use "run to here" on the last step of the test in order to get a recorder to try and attach to the browser.
If you continuously browse in Chrome browser, the memory usage of Telerik TestStudio Extension might go excessively high. More information and steps to reproduce are in the internal description.
When remotely executing test lists, the test data has to be copied manually to the execution server every time when there is a change in data.
ArtOfTest.runner is crashing when executing the test list in the attached project. No crash report is received about out of memory exception but when monitoring artoftestrunner.exe from the task manager, huge consumption of memory is observed.
Test list result reports are showing the wrong time. The subject line is showing the following time: RunResult: Test List with Test-As-Step that includes a coded step; Passed; EndTime 1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM; (2/2 Passed) Here is the body of the email: Telerik Test Studio Executed List: Test List with Test-As-Step that includes a coded step Run Summary: 2 of tests run, 2 passed, 0 failed, 0 not run.The result is not complete! Failure Information Test Name Machine Auto-generated by Telerik Test Studio (2013.1.1120.0) on: 11/25/2013 4:00:55 PM
Currently databinding is completely ignored when you're databinding to the Kendo ListView. Steps to reproduce: 1) Run this test: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-p_FKXYznm5T1RPb3h4aG1OaU0/edit?usp=sharing 2) Expected: the test clicks on different items each time 3) Actually: the test test clicks on the first item repeatedly (ignores the databinding)
The "StopTestListOnFailure" property of a test is no longer stopping the rest of a test list from executing upon the failure of the test. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a Project 2. Add two tests to the project (test A and B) 3. Create a step that will cause the first test to fail (Test A) 4. On the Project tab right click on both tests and check the property "StopTestListOnFailure" (set it to true) 5. Click the Test Lists Tab 6. Add the two tests to the test lists with the first one as the first test in the list (Test A) 7. Execute the test list Expected: After the first test is run and fails the second test will not run due to that property being set to true. Actual: Both tests are run
*I'm familiar with Feedback item 48660. The workaround described in the comment there doesn't work This is how to repro. Please follow instructions closely to understand the issue: 1) Create test and start TS recorder 2) Record NavigateTo("http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/web/menu/index.html") 3) Record click on Products menu button (first button) 4) Take note that clicks is recorder against element id="menu_mn_active" Expected: our translator for KendoMenu records your navigation flawlessly in the menu without you even thinking about it Actually: Object id="menu_mn_active" does NOT exist before you make the first click on the menu item. It's not the hover over action that causes the element id=menu_mn_active to appear. Instead it's the actual click action. There is a slight "lag" between when you click something and the time actually grab that item and put it in a step. The page changes in that time and as a result we end up recording a click against an element that doesn't yet exist. On playback it will fail. It requires quite a tricky workaround
If I go to a different area of Test Studio, come back to the reports I get a new batch of wacky lines. They are getting fixed after clicking on "Reload" button.
1. Schedule a failing test list (i.e. element not found) with SMTP settings configured. 2. On step 3 where the notification settings are, select Only on unexpected errors (not related to the app) radio button. Expected behavior: The test list is executed and it is failed, no email notification should be received Actual behavior: The test list is executed, marked as failed and the email notification is received
Attempt to invoke virtual method 'java.lang.String android.content.res.Resources.getResourceName(int)' on a null object reference
When I open a load test and change it's settings to a different total concurrent load, and update my concurrent goal as well prior to executing the load test, these new settings are not honored and the load test executes with the previous settings. Here is a video I recorded of this issue : http://screencast.com/t/n4Q9mD3gz
For a scheduled list we have had issues for several days with the email indicating Run Summary: 0 of 0 test(s) run; 0 passed, 0 failed, 0 not run while the Results Tab shows that test have executed and gives more appropriate pass and failure information. We would like the emails to match the actual results. See attached pdf for example screen shots.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a simple html page with a link to https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=M88NTGBA23M34 2. Start recording and navigate to the page created by you. 3. Right click on the link and select open in a new window. Expected: Test Studio should attach the recorder to the window. Actual: The new IE windows freezes. This happens almost all the time.
