Steps to reproduce: 1. Schedule a test list which fails. 2. Select to receive the results via e-mail. 3. Choose the aiiresult file as attachment. Expected: User should be able to see detailed information regarding the script failure (Log, Images, DOM etc.) Actual: User is able to see only the log. No data is displayed in Images/DOM tabs
A lot of the time you see failures where a step to select from a dropdown fails immediately because it couldn't find the option it's supposed to select: SelectDropDown(): DropDown was unable to find the item 'Misc Sundry' in the dropdown requested. DropDown had the following values only:; This should work via a timeout instead
It would be useful if there is a module (a standalone step, or step property, or a new tab in the step UI) which is dedicated for text only. Its purpose should be to provide some notes about any additional settings required or something similar.
Hi, Your download BETA page states that Test Studio for APIs can easily test REST protocol but we would like to know if Test Studio for APIs can be used to test SOAP web services?
So we have formatted response data now, that's nice, but it would be a vast improvement to have the result colorized with links inside clickable. Makes it way easier to read at a glance.
Currently if you use a verify step on a <table> element, if the verify fails, you get "Expected count does not match" as an error message for failure information. I think this message should also include a line saying what the expected verified count was, and (or at the very least) an indicator of what the count was that the step failed to. Various things could cause a count to be wrong, and I believe that knowing what the count was at the moment that step failed, would help greatly in debugging these failures.
Rename failure screenshots to reflect parent test that was executed during Test List execution when there are test as step tests. Currently screenshots are named after the test which has the failing step instead of the parent test.
Test Studio's Step Failure Details dialog manages failure data correctly. The possible confusion comes when you explore the stored data in [projectFolder]\Results\[testListName] from windows explorer for example.

Make sure there is an easy way to slow down the test execution for a whole test list or test. At the moment the only to achieve that is by using "execution delay" steps you add after each action step. There should be a more convenient way to achieve the same outcome.
Export a test list result to HTML and open it.
When you hover over the actual and expected images, they are zoomed. They are not visible enough and as a result it is hard to analyze them.
Please improve their resolution and visibility.
Currently you can find the ImageOnFailure in the project's Results folder under the unique test list's result folder (something like "Failing Test 132106926993112448").
