when the tests are distributed there is no way to know on which machine which test was executed. I would like to know which machine executed the test.
Schedule Lists: Cross project Scheduling of Lists in Bulk for regression. Currently we must go into each list and schedule one at a time in each project. I would like to have a Global view of the Scheduled test lists.
Hello Telerik Team, It would be really helpful if you add search text box on create and edit test list models. We have projects with more than 200 tests, and navigating through to find the appropriate test takes a significant amount of time. This feature has already been requested in August 2015 but since this is not implemented yet and it will be very useful in my organization if you add it, I am logging another request for it. Thanks
Implement project setting property to define the Storyboard image quality (detailed or basic for example), where detailed will include high resolution image and basic will be the current resolution
Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a test and start recording aginst: http://spread.grapecity.com/Demos/JS/ViewsDemo/#/demos/EditorMode 2. Highlight some cell in the grid. 3. Click on locate in DOM Expected: The element should be located in DOM. Actual: No element is found. The element is within an iFrame however Test Studio is not able to see any element in that frame.
Scheduled test lists: Display the lists that did not run, and the reason. Currently they fall into a blackhole that does not let anything escape, even light.
When an already scheduled test list is double clicked to be rescheduled the initially selected machines are not visible, On the second screen where the execution machines are listed no machine is selected when rescheduling (refer to screenshot). It is expected to retain the initial choice and a if required to change it.
1. Create account for above website 2. Use Test Studio to capture traffic for a new User Profile in a Load Test 3. Navigate to http://ngauthenticationweb.azurewebsites.net/#/home 4. Log in with just created account 5. End recording when page loads after logging in 5. **Authentication token is generated in response of "http://ngauthenticationapi.azurewebsites.net/token" call 6. **Generated token is used in request of "http://ngauthenticationweb.azurewebsites.net/app/views/orders.html" call Expected behavior: The token to be detected as dynamic target. Actual behavior: Dynamic Targets button not enabled in Test Studio if this web traffic is used
Adding custom tag to be used in the elements' find expression while recording does not work as expected against Chrome and Firefox when Run -> To Here is used. Workaround: IE works fine with Record, Run -> To Here and Load Page options. JS browsers work with Record and Load Page options.
Make a change to Test A, but don't save. Make a change to Test B, but don't save. Revert Test A to the server version. Navigate back to Test B & note that the red checkmark displays next to the test name. Open Test B & note that the pending change was wiped out. A warning message should be displayed to advise users that any unsaved changes will be wiped out if they revert a test to the server version.
Will be great if we can reuse the same verification from one step in another. The same for headers and body input. May be the best option here is to allow "Step" inheritance. So you can declare base Step with some data, and then step-inheritor can reuse verifications and others from step-base.
Reported by Pavel Kotsev Currently Save and Save All commands are available in the File menu. Add them to the main toolbar too so that they can be more easily accessible
Having different colors/icons for the specific methods would make easier to distinguish the methods and follow the scenarios. Currently I`m using a string in the begging of the most of the requests to easier distinguish its type. See attached.
As described in the documentation here: http://docs.telerik.com/teststudio/troubleshooting-guide/recording-problems-tg/highlighting-misaligned Test Studio currently requires DPI set to 100% in order for recorder highlighting to calculate the element coordinates and function properly. This request is about updating the recorder to support higher DPI settings as well.
It would be nice if the SelectedItems screen in the step properties pane stayed open and there was a Close button or you could pin the screen until you have completed manually adding multiple selections.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Close & re-launch Test Studio. 2. Make sure there are no pending changes for the project. 3. Go the Test Lists tab & schedule a test list 4. Choose option to receive test results by E-mail, enter an e-mail address & click Done. 5. Click the Tests tab & note that the project shows a pending save and a pending change. 6. Right-click on the project & select Check In to TFS from the context menu. Click Save. 7. The Check In to TFS screen is displayed with no pending changes. Visual Studio (TFS) does not show a pending change.
We are trying to use the performance profiling feature and are hitting an issue trying to open the results via Test Studio. From the trace file we can see that it is an out of memory error while parsing the JSON. The file is large, but not that large (150 MB). Test Studio should respect the configured TFS Check-in Polices (as configured in the TFS Project) - Work Item number, - Require last build was successful, -etc. Without this we need to reconfigure all the Team Projects in the TFS. We need this for SOX compliance.
