Steps to reproduce:

1. Into the attached sample project there are recorded elements from the same frame.

After the first recording session a baseURL was added for the project and the frame was modified accordingly

2.Trying to record further steps against elements in the same frame disregards the set BaseURL and adds the element under new frame in Elements Explorer.

Expected would be to use the already recorded frame and element.

Step to reproduce:

1. Create a sample web test.

2. Run a performance test of it.

3. Rename any of the steps within the web test.

4. Running the test again will not update the new step names in the Overview view of the local performance execution.

5. Include the test into a performance test list and execute it.

6. The steps names are updated in drill down the test results view but the names are the initial ones in the Profile Results view.

1. Execute the attached test to the second step against FF or Chrome

2. From Elements explorer choose the recorded element and try to locate it in the DOM tree.

Expected: The element to be located in the DOM explorer

Actual: No response from the DOM explorer.

If the above is performed in IE it works fine.

Currently, the Project pane items autosort by name when they are created. It would be more useful if we could manually sort these items so we can run tests sequentially instead of alphabetically. Currently I'm resorting to naming folders and test cases with a numerical system to get them in the order I want them to be in.

It would be very welcome if there is an option to be able to ignore a test during testexecution. For example when you have a suite with tests and you know that one test will keep failing for some time (api work in progress etc), after running the suite, the suite gets a red dot while the others tests have passed.

Navigate to the provided page and try to enter text in the text area. When in JS browsers nothing is recorded. In IE the enter text step is successfully recorded and could be also executed against Chrome and FF.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Navigate to http://www.pinnacle.com

2. IE will not attach the recorder at all. JS browsers will attach and record some steps.

3. Execution is not successful in any of the browsers.

The thrown exception is related to the AJAX listener.

Hello,

Yesterday I updated Telerik API to version 2017.1.207.0 and I now seem to have trouble getting the Bearertoken set using Set Variable.

The Set Variable step is defined as

Source: Body     JSONPath     acces_token
Variable: Bearertoken
Convert to: none
Target  Level: Test

which worked fine with the Response Body in an earlier step that returned the AccessToken

{
"access_token":"xxxx",
"token_type":"bearer",
"expires_in":3599
}

which resulted in setting the Bearertoken as "xxxx"

Since the update the Bearertoken does not get set (=empty). This is probably due to a new validation of the JSON path: "The path is not a valid Jsonpath" ?
However, if I change JSONPath to $.access_token the bearertoken still does not get set (=empty).
Please advise on how to get this working again. It blocks running my testcases.

Data driven test using a local data source. If the columns in the grid are reordered the test is not marked as dirty and the change is not being saved.

Steps to reproduce:

1.  Open a test
2.  Choose 'Local data'
3. Add a columns and drag and drop an existing column in a different place in the table.
4.  Save the test.
5. Close and reopen the test or project.
6.  Browse to 'Local data'.
7. Column order change was not stored, the column order reverts back to the original order.

When right-clicking on an item (file, folder, test) it only works the first time. On subsequent clicks, you have to right-click twice to get the edit field to become visible.

This would be useful as an "object oriented" use of test steps.

The goal would be to reuse test steps for different data inputs and website global settings for our website testing. Another benefit of the test bind data being set outside of the test step is that source control would be relatively unaffected by the modification of data input into the bound table.

Considering using MS Access to have tables bound to specific test steps and deleting records and appending new records prior to test step execution within a system test (some are simple functional test and others are more complex system tests and setups).

In our proposed implementation a 'coded step' would need to be executed prior to the test step to clear and append the table which is bound to the test step. Btw, many of the test steps are bound to a table with a single record.

Perhaps allow instances of test as steps to be inserted in a test case with instance specific data binding. This may not be ideal but it should work.

Kendo Drop down custom template could create the list item elements surrounded by div and thus cannot be reginized as a Kendo element by the translator. By design the translator is built to recognize spans only. It would be useful to extend the usability of the translator.

I have just downloaded the latest version 2016.3.928.0 (why cant i copy this version number from the help about menu?).

have set base-url under project to http://localhost:59093 and added a test that calls {{base-url}}/SxWinService?environment=uat1&serviceName=*Entity* however when run it calls http://localhost:5000/SxWinService?environment=uat1&serviceName=*Entity*

At least it did last few times I ran it, but not this time, very strange I don't think I have done anything. maybe saved the project, hmmm. weird. Anyway there is defo something strange about this.

Very much like this https://feedback.telerik.com/Project/182/Feedback/Details/205353-base-url-mostly-defaults-to-localhost5000

which seems to be signed off, but there is something weird with it. Maybe try testing on a fresh box...
