It is my understanding that the root of the Project tree shows the tests linked to the project as well as whether any changes have been made to the project settings file (Settings.aiis) via the Settings button. Now I find out it also indicates that the .aailist file has been modified. Too many things are causing the checkmark to show against the root of the tree and it's not apparent as to what has changed to cause that checkmark to show. You may want to include a second node at the root of the tree with it being relevant to the test list; or, do this from the Test List window itself. And, if the control files are being checked out for modification, please include a modal popup to the end-user so that they know that a behind-the-scenes critical file has been checked out.

Telerik: I have changed the feedback title and description to be more accurate. Actually the project itself is not checked out only its icon shows as if the project is checked out - this is done to show the user that some pending change for check in is in place. Only the test list (.aiilist) is checked out this is expected when Test List is edited. If this behavior is not user friendly, please share your expectations in such case.
