In a manual test hitting backspace to delete a comment, will go back to Steps 1 & 2.
When running a manual test list, putting a comment in a test case, typing, and then hitting the backspace to delete a comment, will go back to Steps 1 & 2. See this video demonstration: http://screencast.com/t/jZ3LQwRyp
